About the team

Stripe’s Professional Services team works with our most strategic users; You will work on the highest visibility projects to provide technical expertise to our customers to help accelerate their knowledge, solution design and integrations with Stripe. This role is responsible for leading strategic conversations and developing plans that will transform the payments and financial infrastructure for leading enterprises.

What you’ll do

As a Transformation & Integration Architect, you will engage with some of Stripe's most high-profile and valuable customers. Your role will involve providing architectural insights on how Stripe can integrate seamlessly into their existing enterprise ecosystems. By offering integration expertise, you will facilitate the acceleration of clients' understanding, solution design, and implementation processes with Stripe. Additionally, you will play a key role in securing large Professional Services engagements with strategic clients. This includes leading critical strategic discussions and developing comprehensive plans and blueprints to transform the payments and financial infrastructure of leading enterprises.

Responsibilities

  • Work with our Go-To-Market teams to identify and develop Professional Services opportunities
  • Advise customer’s senior leadership on enterprise & solution architecture in relation to Stripe’s integration.
  • Building “art of the possible” proposals, capability & solution blueprints and business cases for digital transformation type of engagements
  • Lead pre-sales workshops with customers (strategy/vision/discovery/assessment workshops)
  • Shape Professional Services deals, build and negotiate contracts/Statements of Work
  • Autonomously lead complex, multi-party implementation projects in a highly consultative and proactive manner
  • Engage with Product and Engineering teams to help drive product strategy for large users
  • Collaborate with your teammates on strategic projects that improve and scale our implementation process and team operations
  • Strong leadership and cross collaboration skills with the ability to make informed decisions, test assumptions, and iterate to improve overall Stripe user journey

Who you are

Minimum requirements

  • 7+ years in technology / IT consulting & management, with a history of excellence in handling strategic customers and technology solutions.
  • 5+ years in solution and/or enterprise architecture in relation to pre-sales of SaaS products
  • Proven experience in pre-sales/sales of sizable service engagements and in contract/SOW development.
  • Passion for innovation and crafting top-tier, reusable professional services offerings, and enablement of Sales teams to GTM with these offerings.
  • Thrives on the urgency and importance of working with our largest customers, and are able to achieve set objectives while balancing competing priorities
  • Ability to understand complex business requirements and craft tailored solutions
  • Strong communication and analytical skills, with a knack for pinpointing and improving inefficient processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to cut through ambiguity to produce strategic insights and opportunities

Preferred requirements

  • Knowledge of the sales cycles of a SaaS product or a technology platform for strategic enterprise customers
  • A proven track record of driving cross-functional alignment across a broad set of stakeholders, including engineering, sales, support, product, marketing, data science, and senior leadership to achieve growth targets
  • Experience in building and scaling a GTM-led growth discipline, including the development of the strategy, processes and operating model. Experience in creating a strong growth culture within a team
  • Background in a growth-stage Internet/software company and/or the payments industry
  • Familiarity with APIs and their role in digital solutions
Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for individuals and their teams.

The annual salary range for this role in the primary location is £124,000 - £186,000. This range may change if you are hired in another location. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings (“OTE”) range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and specific location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the primary location may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
