As Sr. FP&A Manager, Performance Marketing and Measurement, you’ll help shape how Target invests in and evaluates demand-driving activities across Paid Search, Social, Affiliate, and emerging performance channels. You’ll provide end-to-end financial leadership, build clarity and consistency in how we measure marketing performance, and partner across Marketing, Merchandise Finance, and the broader organization to define Target’s strategy for optimizing return on investment.
You’ll play a critical role in understanding our total performance marketing investment, building financial routines that support enterprise decision-making, and developing new cross-functional processes that drive alignment, transparency, and improved outcomes.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead financial planning, forecasting, actuals, and goal routines for Performance Marketing across Paid Search, Social, and Affiliate.
- Build a holistic view of Target’s total performance marketing investment and deliver insights that optimize spend and outcomes.
- Partner with Marketing Measurement to strengthen reporting, establish recap/retro routines, and improve performance storytelling.
- Work with Merch Finance and Marketing to define a consistent enterprise approach to funding decisions, tradeoffs, and returns.
- Develop scalable models and tools that link marketing investments to enterprise financial outcomes.
- Improve processes, routines, and reporting to enhance clarity, accuracy, and cross-team alignment.
About You:
- MBA or 4-year degree with 6+ years relevant finance or business experience.
- Strong financial and analytical acumen; ability to connect marketing investments to our ROAS and impacts on merchandise financials (Merch Finance experience a plus).
- Excellent communicator who tailors messages across diverse partners and senior leaders.
- Influential partner skilled at aligning stakeholders and navigating ambiguity.
- Experience developing cross-functional processes and driving strategic clarity.
- Self-starter able to assess and prioritize work independently.
- Curious mindset with a desire to understand marketing financial processes and challenge existing approaches.
This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
