ALL ABOUT THE SR. ETL ROLE
You work side by side with the Store Director to run a profitable growth business that has one purpose: to help
all families discover the joy of everyday life. You lead a sales force of experts that are passionate about making
sure guests get what they came for (plus a little more) every time they shop at your store. You develop leaders
who care about their team members, and team members who care about their guests and each other.

and develop skills for a career. The role of a Sr. Executive Team Leader can provide you
with the skills and experience of:
• Guest service fundamentals and experience building and managing a guest-first culture on your team
• Retail business fundamentals, including understanding department sales trends, inventory management,
guest shopping patterns, pricing and promotions strategies
• Setting and planning of department(s) monthly/quarterly workload to support business priorities and
managing a team to meet sales goals.
• Leveraging competitor insights to drive business objectives
• Managing a team of multi-level leaders and creating business-specific strategies and goals
• Recruiting, selecting and talent management of hourly and exempt team members and leaders
As a Sr. Executive Team Leader, no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will
most likely include the following responsibilities:
• Consistently delivers guest experience commitments
• Holds TLs accountable to deliver exceptional guest experiences through consistent operations,
accountability, team development, training and recognition.
• Celebrates outstanding guest experiences across teams and ensures recognition is consistent and
meaningful.
• Reviews area guest, financial, and team metrics to identify gaps and understand team behaviors and takes
action to improve
• Celebrates wins, sets clear priorities, and leads actions that drive results and enhance the guest
experience.
• Partners across teams to create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience.
• Assist the Store Director in planning, strategizing and building the business.
• Drive total omnichannel store sales, demonstrate how you, your team and your departments contribute to
and impact total store profitability.
• Anticipate and identify changes in store-specific trends and drive sales growth in your departments by
leaning into key seasons, events and weekends.
• Leverage your reports (financial, operational, team and guest) to understand the business; Share key
insights and themes with the Store Director in support of total store strategy and growth.
• Lead and create a culture of executing all best practices by understanding where operational shortage can
occur throughout the building, build routines and action plans to resolve opportunities, and establish clear
goals and expectations to hold team accountable.
• Know and assess the competition and leverage guest insights and feedback to drive the business and be
the destination of choice for our guests.
