A Marketplace New Business Development Director, Alliances owns the end-to-end sales enablement and operational engine for Target+. This role sets the strategy, operating model, and tooling that power seller acquisition across the full sales lifecycle. Defining sales enablement vision, roadmap, and success metrics. Managing team budget including events, marketing campaigns and capability expenses. Partnering closely with Target+ leadership on core positioning & external messaging for Target+. Overseeing sales operations, including intake, pipeline flow, tooling, and reporting. Overseeing seller-facing marketing infrastructure (pitch materials, Target+ website, enablement content) and event strategy. Managing relationships with Strategic Partnership leadership to align roadmap for growth. Ensuring scalability, consistency, and operational rigor as the marketplace grows.

About You:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) required.
7+ years of experience in merchandising, inventory management, forecasting, or product selection (including open-to-buy management).
3+ years of eCommerce experience; marketplace/3P expertise strongly preferred.
Proven business acumen with a track record of building industry relationships and leveraging data analytics to inform decisions.
Expertise in business planning, forecasting, and defining KPIs to drive execution of business strategy.
Entrepreneurial and performance-driven, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
Resilient and adaptable, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to bring clarity and decisiveness in complex or changing situations.
Excellent communicator with strong planning, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.
