PRIMARY FUNCTION
As a Senior Manager – Enterprise Item, you will lead enterprise-wide item data strategy,
governance, and operations to enable a consistent, accurate, and high-quality item experience
across all guest touchpoints - stores, digital, and supply chain. You will oversee large, complex
portfolios, influence cross-functional partners at scale, and drive transformational initiatives that
elevate capabilities and operational excellence across the Enterprise Item organization.
As a Senior Manager – Enterprise Item, you will lead enterprise-wide item data strategy,
governance, and operations to enable a consistent, accurate, and high-quality item experience
across all guest touchpoints - stores, digital, and supply chain. You will oversee large, complex
portfolios, influence cross-functional partners at scale, and drive transformational initiatives that
elevate capabilities and operational excellence across the Enterprise Item organization.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership & People Development
• Lead, manage, and develop multiple Manager- and Lead-level roles, with an overall
organization size of 12+ team members across Sr. Specialists, Lead Specialists and
Analysts.
• Build strong leadership capability through coaching, performance management,
succession planning, and structured development plans.
• Foster a culture of accountability, psychological safety, collaboration, and continuous
improvement.
• Drive team engagement, recognition programs, retention strategies, and
capability-building initiatives across the broader Enterprise Item team.
Leadership & People Development
• Lead, manage, and develop multiple Manager- and Lead-level roles, with an overall

• Own and drive enterprise-level item data operations, ensuring accuracy, speed, and
completeness of item setup, maintenance, and data governance.
• Define strategic priorities for the team and ensure alignment with enterprise goals, OKRs,
and product roadmaps.
• Use data, metrics, and dashboards to monitor performance, identify gaps, and drive
improvements in productivity, quality, and SLA adherence.
• Lead operational reviews, risk assessments, and root-cause problem-solving to eliminate
defects and streamline processes.
• Own and drive enterprise-level item data operations, ensuring accuracy, speed, and
completeness of item setup, maintenance, and data governance.

• Serve as a primary business leader and subject matter expert across Operations,
Merchandising, Digital, Supply Chain, and Product/Tech teams.
• Influence senior cross-functional partners to shape enterprise item strategy, governance
frameworks, and capability investments.
• Lead steering discussions and drive alignment with enterprise leadership on priorities,
capacity planning, scalability solutions, and process modernization.
• Partner with L&D, Product, and Change Management teams to drive capability-building,
training programs, and change adoption across the organization.
Innovation, Transformation & Change Leadership
• Champion transformation initiatives related to item data automation, AI/ML-driven item
enrichment, quality improvements, and system migrations.
• Lead large-scale projects—from problem definition to execution—ensuring strong
partnership, communication, and change management across teams.
• Drive continuous improvement by leveraging Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
to optimize workflows and eliminate inefficiencies.
Subject Matter Expertise
• Demonstrate deep expertise in enterprise item data management, catalog management,
merchandise operations, digital item experiences, and upstream/downstream item
workflows.
• Oversee governance frameworks, data quality controls, and audit practices to ensure
compliance with enterprise standards.
• Represent Enterprise Item as a thought leader in enterprise forums, strategic planning
sessions, and capability-building discussions.
• Demonstrate deep expertise in enterprise item data management, catalog management,

REPORTING / WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
• Reports to the Director – Enterprise Item.
• Partners with Merchandising, Product, Supply Chain, Digital, Finance, L&D, and Global
Operations teams.
• Approves and influences decisions on enterprise-level item processes, systems,
workflows, and operational investments.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience
• Graduate degree in any discipline (Master’s preferred).
• 10–12 years of relevant work experience, including 3–4 years of people leadership
managing high-performing teams and leading leaders.
• Experience in Enterprise Item/Item Data Management, Catalog Operations, Merchandise
Planning, Digital Operations, or related domains.
Education & Experience
