Job Description:

The Associate Vice President, Data Portfolio Performance Management is responsible to manage and measurement of the Platforms & Technology Data portfolios, programs, & products against the consolidated book of DaaS data roadmaps, as well as drive visibility on project status, resource capacity, and capabilities alignment. The role also owns the DaaS Engineering Practice and global resourcing strategies to deliver against the Roadmaps.

Reporting to the SVP & Head of the Data Management & Data Platform, the individual brings with data domain and portfolio management experiences. They are a strategic partner to Data and DaaS leadership teams to monitor variances to the portfolio delivery, recognizing and anticipating emerging trends and mitigation solutions.

  • Develop and agree on a clear plan and approach to create effective data technology roadmaps across DaaS and EDMO to support the continued execution
  • Regularly review and adjust the consolidated technology roadmap based on performance data, market trends, and feedback.
  • Define and track key performance indicators to measure the success of technology programs and initiatives.
  • Track and manage these initiatives through portfolios or as strategic programs.
  • Creates and maintains performance dashboards and reporting using visualization systems (e.g., Tableau) to reporting key, metrics, trends and create insights for design making
  • Responsible for the analysis, understanding and oversight of the respective portfolio or portfolios Data.
  • Lead and facilitate a portfolio review process with key stakeholders to monitor variances to the portfolio and plans for the respective portfolio or portfolios.
  • Develop a reporting cadence with key stakeholders to quicky and effectively take actions or initiatives to course correct, and assess risks.
  • Provide support to execution of strategies and delivering measurable results in alignment to the Scorecard and OKRs.
  • Monitor projects through to conclusion and manage expectations along the way to ensure that tangible value is delivered.
  • Own and manage initiatives that cross Data (e.g. Currency, Audit, Regulatory, Workforce, outages, etc.)
  • Ensure alignment between business goals and project investments at the portfolio and program levels.
  • Ensure that the highest impact projects and program initiatives are selected and can be reprioritized after being added to the pipeline, as business considerations and assumptions change.
  • Assess and identify long term operational effectiveness to enable platform stability and security and mitigate audit/regulatory risks
  • Brief and prepare materials in advance of senior meetings and presentations
  • Responsible for presenting monthly and quarterly findings to senior executives and stakeholders.
  • Lead and manage data management councils & forums to communicate strategy, progress insights, and raise escalation & mobilization
  • Ownership of all agreements and staffing operations for our Global Delivery partners. Centrally manage the intake, demand, fulfillment and delivery of SOW resources.
  • Lead the Data Engineering Practice: develop practitioners with deep subject matter expertise, strong business, industry and domain specific knowledge. Ensure knowledge sharing, establishing consistency, standards and frameworks.

Individual:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, program delivery or a related field.
  • 10+ years related experience in managing technology portfolio & building technology roadmaps
  • Strong analytical aptitude to analyze data and draw meaningful conclusions
  • Ability to understand key metric drivers and translate performance data into actionable insights
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and creates partnerships across Data and stakeholders
  • Strong negotiation, persuasion, and facilitation skills in order to help manage ongoing delivery efforts with a wide range of stakeholder groups
