Job Description Summary
Support the core functions of BBIS by driving operational excellence through data analytics, process design, governance, project implementation, business readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives. Partners with business, technology, risk, and operational stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions, strengthen controls, improve service delivery, and provide actionable insights through reporting and visualization. Leads the development of business processes, operational frameworks, documentation, and implementation activities to support strategic business objectives and regulatory requirements
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Enablement & Strategic Support
Serve as an enablement resource supporting BBIS core functions - application support, access provisioning and access governance.
Lead the intake, prioritization, planning, and coordination of strategic initiatives, enhancement requests, and operational improvement opportunities.
Partner with stakeholders to identify efficiency opportunities and implement sustainable solutions that improve service delivery and operational effectiveness.
Support business readiness, change management, and implementation activities for new processes, tools, applications, and governance frameworks.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between business, technology, risk, compliance, and operational teams.
Data Analytics & Visualization
Develop and maintain operational dashboards, scorecards, and reporting solutions to provide meaningful business insights and support decision-making.
Perform data mining, data analysis, and trend identification to measure performance, identify risks, and uncover improvement opportunities.
Translate complex operational data into actionable recommendations for leadership and stakeholders.
Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs), service metrics, governance reporting, and executive-level reporting packages.
Leverage tools such as Power BI, Power Query, Excel, SharePoint, and other reporting platforms to enhance visibility and transparency.
Process Design & Documentation
Lead the design, documentation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of operational processes and procedures.
Develop business-owned artifacts, operating models, workflows, job aids, and governance documentation to support operational consistency and audit readiness.
Establish standards for process documentation and knowledge management across supported functions.
Ensure all documentation aligns with enterprise policies, regulatory requirements, and operational best practices.
Drive process simplification, automation opportunities, and documentation governance initiatives.
Project Delivery & Implementation
Support business initiatives throughout the project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, impact assessments, implementation planning, testing coordination, and deployment readiness.
Lead business implementation activities for projects impacting application support, access governance, and operational processes.
Coordinate user acceptance testing and business acceptance testing activities, ensuring successful integration into business-as-usual operations.
Identify, assess, and escalate project risks, dependencies, and implementation challenges while recommending mitigation strategies.
Act as a business SME and advisor during project planning and execution.
Governance, Risk & Controls
Support the development and execution of governance frameworks and control processes related to application support and access management.
Monitor control effectiveness and identify opportunities to strengthen compliance, audit readiness, and risk mitigation practices.
Ensure adherence to enterprise policies, privacy requirements, regulatory expectations, and data governance standards.
Provide analysis and reporting related to operational, access management, and compliance-related metrics.
Support remediation initiatives and continuous improvement activities resulting from audits, reviews, and assessments.
Breadth & Depth
Expert-level professional role requiring advanced knowledge in business enablement, operational excellence, governance, process design, analytics, and project implementation.
Recognized subject matter expert supporting multiple business functions and operational disciplines.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and translate it into business solutions.
Demonstrated ability to lead complex initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
Deep understanding of operational governance, process management, change management, and data-driven decision-making.
Ability to influence outcomes without direct authority and build strong partnerships across business and technology teams.
Experience & Education
Undergraduate degree or technical certificate.
5+ years of experience in business enablement, business analysis, operational excellence, governance, project delivery, process improvement, application support, or related disciplines.
Experience with data analysis, dashboard development, reporting, and visualization tools (Power BI, Power Query, Excel, SharePoint).
Experience supporting governance, risk, compliance, audit, or access management processes is considered an asset.
Demonstrated experience leading process design, documentation, implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
