The Brattle Group, a privately held, global economics consulting firm, is looking for a Senior Marketing Assistant to join our Boston office. This position is an excellent role for a talented individual seeking broad experience in marketing, business development, and event planning in a professional services setting.

Reporting to the Events Manager and collaborating closely with our collegial 10+ person Marketing team, this individual will gain hands-on experience in a broad range of highly visible marketing and business development projects, as well as behind-the-scenes administrative support. They will work closely with consulting experts and other Corporate Services team members, gaining insights into Brattle’s interesting work and the vital role of the Marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a flexible, team-oriented attitude and excel in a dynamic setting with multiple concurrent projects.

Some of the day-to-day responsibilities of this role include:

  • Support the Events Manager with the planning of internal and external events, including client networking receptions, practice area seminars, webinars, internal staff retreats, and other internal firm-wide events
  • Assist with event-related logistics, including venue sourcing, invitation design, vendor liaising, and developing event marketing materials
  • Support Events and Practice Marketing colleagues with the coordination of sponsorships for conferences and industry events
  • Partner with Digital Marketing colleagues on drafting and reviewing social media content, creating templatized graphics, conducting website updates, organizing professional headshots, and other special projects
  • Support the team’s Editorial colleagues by drafting and proofing internal and external communications, such as website news and event postings, presentations, email blasts, and other marketing collateral
  • Undertake research projects related to industry trends, potential conferences of interest, client and competitor intelligence, and firm rankings
  • Support administrative details of other short- and long-term marketing and business development projects as directed

THE CANDIDATE

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as: Marketing, Public Relations, or Communications preferred
  • Minimum of one (1) year of relevant professional experience, including internships required
  • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook (or similar software) required
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and independent work environment
  • Takes pride in working within a high-quality, high-integrity organization and values intellectual curiosity and continuous learning
  • Proactive, highly organized, and confidential project management skills
  • Ability to occasionally work overtime and travel

Brattle offers a competitive benefits package, base salary, and bonus program for eligible roles based on individual and firm performance. The anticipated base gross salary range for this position in Boston is $60,000 - $68,000 annually. Actual salary will depend on a variety of factors, including experience and training.
