As a Solution Engineer III on the Quantitative Portfolio Construction Technology team, you will collaborate with our partners to design, build, validate, and maintain quantitative tools and strategies used to support investment management activities.

The Quantitative Portfolio Construction Technology team is setup to support and scale the quantitative portfolio construction, quantitative decision support analytics, and quantitative research capabilities. We are responsible for partnering with Investment group, Operations, Quantitative research, and technology teams to manage and enable quantitative portfolio construction, portfolio analysis, and monitoring & oversight.

  • You are responsible for defining customer outcomes and business requirements
  • You will lead medium to large projects that require changes to multiple applications to achieve desired business outcomes
  • You will act as customer proxy to test and measure against success criteria
  • You ensure system is aligned with product goals and requirements
  • You possess the creativity to execute on vision for the product


  • Technical aptitude or degree with 8+ years in a software development environment
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, and is adept in communicating and influencing cross-functional teams
  • You have a customer-first mindset, strong problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and adaptability
  • An understanding of portfolio optimization, expertise in financial services or Investment experience is preferred

Southern California Base Salary Range: $116,974-$187,158

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
