They are the 30 dominant financial intermediaries well-positioned to benefit from increasing global wealth and market consolidation. They have a dominant presence in at least two continents or three priority markets and represent a growing pool of global private wealth assets. Given their global reach, GFIs are increasingly looking for long-term, stable partners who can support them across geographies. We’ve made steady and significant progress with GFIs since the team’s beginnings in 2015 and we’re looking to build on that success with a new member of the team.
We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic junior salesperson (Business Development Associate Snr.) to join our Global Financial Intermediaries business development team and contribute to our strategic goal of building long-term partnerships with GFIs.
The successful applicant will work with the Business Development Managers and Business Development Associates responsible for developing Capital’s GFI business across Europe and Asia. The role will include regular tasks such as account planning, meeting preparation and follow-ups and reporting, as well as projects designed to improve Capital’s relationships with the GFIs and increase Capital’s market share with these key firms.
Examples of responsibilities across the three disciplines of the team are:

Drive the global agenda for our largest financial intermediaries
Develops and maintains the suite of topics that the GFI team can engage with clients and prospects around, as examples: update on the Capital business, our approach to AI, industry trends
Input into the articulation of our strategic partnership offering and management of its deployment
Keep abreast of industry trends through research and networks

Design and implement an infrastructure for global collaboration and mobilisation around collective goals:
Develop systematic account plans for Capital’s target GFIs and coordinates all aspects of the plan including the account calls are diarised and that mobilisation around collective goals does happen
Coordination around new launch partnerships and sell-through of on-boarded strategies
Prepares the Business Development Managers for meetings with GFI firms and, over time, actively participates in client-facing meetings

Ensure CG is optimally positioned to grow our business with the GFIs:
Coordinates the creation of specialized reporting, pulling data from a variety of sources, showing firm assets, sales, redemptions, progress, market share and share of wallet; shares data for broader review. Gathers and analyses key firm data and works with reporting teams/systems to create these GFI reports and Marketing to produce targeted campaigns

You have high energy and enthusiasm and enjoy influencing
You have experience in sales; cold-calling and relationship building
You have experience engaging with prospects, consultants, clients or colleagues
You have worked in or for asset and investment management
You are comfortable discussing product and asset class characteristics, macro themes etc
You like researching new topics and building a narrative for external audiences around through leadership
You have working knowledge of Salesforce or other Client Relationship Management system
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
