As A Solution Engineer III you’ll identify business needs, define client experiences in the form of features and functionality and contribute to inspiring product visions and roadmaps. Execute and develop these features by leveraging their technical knowledge and analytical skills while building strong partnerships with fellow technologists, business partners, and external partners.
You are focused on capabilities across digital channels empowered by data and analytics. You will be responsible for end-to-end solution delivery for multiple features within a product and/or full scope of the product. You will partner with the senior technologist and business partners to drive the product roadmap to meet the defined vision through creative thinking, asking challenging questions, and analyzing risks.

I have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
4+ years of software development experience, with a focus on data engineering, in at least one modern language such as Java, Python or PySpark.
4+ years of data engineering/devops experience in any or all the following: pipeline ingestion, database architectures, data models, CI/CD pipeline (Docker, Helm, Harness, Jenkins or CircleCI).
3+ years of experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodeBuild and Codepipline, Harness.
Experience designing, developing, and deploying cloud native technology solutions (preferably on AWS) with expertise in Infrastructure as Code and PaaS, and a proactive approach towards application alternatives, performance, and security as they relate to the design and development process.
Knowledge of data stores, SQL, and No-SQL.
Deep understanding of AWS services such as EKS, API Gateway, Load Balancers, S3, Lambda, RDS, Role Based Controls (RBAC) and experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Experience in building RESTful APIs in Cloud environment, with openAPI specification standards.
Deep knowledge of test coverage frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, or pytest.
Experienced in designing and implementing Kafka-based event-driven architectures, including the use of Kafka Streams and KSQL for real-time data processing and transformation.
Experienced in designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines using Airflow, ensuring efficient scheduling, monitoring, and error handling.
Experience implementing disaster recovery and backup strategies using AWS Backup, S3 versioning, and cross-region replication to ensure data integrity and availability.
Southern California Base Salary Range: $116,974-$187,158
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
