The Digital Workplace Engineering Manager will manage a team of associates responsible for the design, integration and implementation of enterprise systems.
We are looking for a manager to lead a group of high performing engineers that drive the corporate strategy for end user computing. You should have deep understanding of the technologies and processes used to manage a large fleet of corporate endpoints. As a member of the End User Computing Engineering team, you are instrumental in solution development to provide stable, reliable and productive user experiences.

Responsibilities:
Drives execution of technology strategy ensuring alignment with business objectives
Actively manages the product portfolio ensuring compliance to company guidelines and alignment to roadmaps
Leads planning and execution to deliver expected business outcomes
Directs overall management and delivery for End User Computing products and solutions
Proactively supports and operates solutions and takes measures to enhance processes and improve service delivery
Develops, implements and ensures adherence to policies, standards, procedures, methodology
Collaborates with Senior Manager to select, develop, and motivate a high performing team

Ideal candidate should have:
A strong service orientation with a can-do attitude, adaptive to change with a real passion for the End User Computing technology space
Demonstrated systems engineering mindset with the ability to apply a systematic approach to problem solving, driven by data and understanding tradeoffs
Solution development experience demonstrating elements of rigor, design, operational oversight and accountability for products owned and operated

In depth knowledge of End User Computing technologies:
End user operating environments (Windows, MacOS, mobile)
Productivity tools (Office 365, Adobe Creative Cloud)
Systems management tools (SCCM, JAMF, WorkspaceOne, or InTune)
Desktop Virtualization (Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365, VMware Horizon, or Citrix)
Endpoint Detection and Response (Crowdstrike, Microsoft Defender)
Digital User Experience management
Network configuration (firewall, proxy, virtual networks)
In depth knowledge of concepts, procedures, and techniques for using and supporting End User Computing devices in an enterprise environment:
Technology product lifecycle management, from cradle to grave
Software Development Lifecycle management, from cradle to grave
Endpoint automation
Root cause analysis
Vendor management
Service management (incident/problem/change)
Agile methodology and rituals
Strong listening, reasoning, facilitation, and objection handling skills
Strong interpersonal skills and possess excellent time management skills
Effective communications with all levels of leadership, and proven record of successful projects, in partnership with business stakeholders
Experience managing performance of technical resources
Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in End User Computing, with at least 3 years as a lead or manager
A four-year degree is preferred
Experience in the financial industry is desired
Southern California Base Salary Range: $173,211-$277,138
San Antonio Base Salary Range: $142,394-$227,830
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
