The Digital Workplace Engineering Manager will manage a team of associates responsible for the design, integration and implementation of enterprise systems.

We are looking for a manager to lead a group of high performing engineers that drive the corporate strategy for end user computing. You should have deep understanding of the technologies and processes used to manage a large fleet of corporate endpoints. As a member of the End User Computing Engineering team, you are instrumental in solution development to provide stable, reliable and productive user experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Drives execution of technology strategy ensuring alignment with business objectives

  • Actively manages the product portfolio ensuring compliance to company guidelines and alignment to roadmaps

  • Leads planning and execution to deliver expected business outcomes

  • Directs overall management and delivery for End User Computing products and solutions

  • Proactively supports and operates solutions and takes measures to enhance processes and improve service delivery

  • Develops, implements and ensures adherence to policies, standards, procedures, methodology

  • Collaborates with Senior Manager to select, develop, and motivate a high performing team

Ideal candidate should have:

  • A strong service orientation with a can-do attitude, adaptive to change with a real passion for the End User Computing technology space

  • Demonstrated systems engineering mindset with the ability to apply a systematic approach to problem solving, driven by data and understanding tradeoffs

  • Solution development experience demonstrating elements of rigor, design, operational oversight and accountability for products owned and operated

  • In depth knowledge of End User Computing technologies:

    • End user operating environments (Windows, MacOS, mobile)

    • Productivity tools (Office 365, Adobe Creative Cloud)

    • Systems management tools (SCCM, JAMF, WorkspaceOne, or InTune)

    • Desktop Virtualization (Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365, VMware Horizon, or Citrix)

    • Endpoint Detection and Response (Crowdstrike, Microsoft Defender)

    • Digital User Experience management

    • Network configuration (firewall, proxy, virtual networks)

  • In depth knowledge of concepts, procedures, and techniques for using and supporting End User Computing devices in an enterprise environment:

  • Technology product lifecycle management, from cradle to grave

  • Software Development Lifecycle management, from cradle to grave

  • Endpoint automation

  • Root cause analysis

  • Vendor management

  • Service management (incident/problem/change)

  • Agile methodology and rituals

  • Strong listening, reasoning, facilitation, and objection handling skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills and possess excellent time management skills

  • Effective communications with all levels of leadership, and proven record of successful projects, in partnership with business stakeholders

  • Experience managing performance of technical resources

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in End User Computing, with at least 3 years as a lead or manager

  • A four-year degree is preferred

  • Experience in the financial industry is desired

Southern California Base Salary Range: $173,211-$277,138

San Antonio Base Salary Range: $142,394-$227,830

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
