“I can succeed as a Principal Product Manager of AI Measurement & Reporting at Capital Group”

As Principal Product Manager of AI Measurement & Reporting at Capital Group you will work to maximize value from the firm’s AI investments. As part of the Enterprise AI team, you will track, report, and prioritize AI use cases across all business lines to ensure alignment with Capital Group’s Long-Term Strategic Plan. You’ll monitor adoption, ROI, and business impact, reporting regularly to senior leadership, and collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance to understand and communicate the cost and value of AI initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Portfolio Oversight & Reporting: You will maintain a centralized inventory of AI use cases, develop dashboards/scorecards, and regularly report adoption, impact, and ROI to senior leaders.

  • Use Case Prioritization: You will apply structured frameworks to evaluate and prioritize AI projects based on strategic fit, impact, feasibility, and risk. You will lead quarterly reviews to align resources with business goals.

  • Impact Measurement: You will define clear success metrics and KPIs for each use case. You will track adoption and quantify realized business value through regular post-implementation analysis.

  • Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: You will create polished reports and presentations for diverse audiences, sharing progress, successes, and lessons learned. You will foster transparency and internal support for AI initiatives.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will bridge business, technical, finance, and risk teams. You will support intake, approval, and financial validation processes for new AI use cases.

  • Process Standardization: You will develop and refine templates, intake forms, and reporting standards for AI use cases. You will implement tools to centralize documentation and tracking.

  • AI Adoption & Change Management: You will partner with enablement teams to drive user adoption, address barriers, and support training initiatives. You will monitor adoption metrics to ensure projected ROI is achieved.

  • Value Communication & Strategy Alignment: You will advocate for AI’s business value, highlight success stories, and recommend portfolio adjustments to maximize enterprise impact and learning.

  • You have 10+ years in program/project management, analytics, strategy, or tech roles; experience in financial services/asset management is a plus.

  • You have strong analytical skills, including ROI and KPI measurement, dashboarding, and impact analysis.

  • You have proven cross-functional project management and stakeholder coordination experience.

  • You have a strategic mindset: ability to align initiatives with corporate goals and prioritize effectively.

  • You have excellent written and verbal communication; adept at reports and executive presentations.

  • You have experience leading change management or technology adoption efforts.

  • You have familiarity with AI/ML concepts and data analytics; ability to partner with technical teams.

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Data/Analytics, Engineering, or related field; MBA/advanced degree a plus.

Southern California Base Salary Range: $208,245-$354,017

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
