Job Description Summary

As a Program Manager in the Global Product Execution (GPX) team for Europe and Asia, you will be a strategic partner to Product Group leaders and key stakeholders across the enterprise to define and deliver on Capital Group’s product launch and execution objectives, and lead efforts to achieve strategic business objectives across Europe and Asia.

This role owns the endtoend delivery of complex interdependent product launches and material product changes, applying deep product expertise and disciplined execution. You will drive planning, governance, and delivery; partner closely with crossfunctional teams; advanced delivery methodologies, thought leadership, and apply datadriven insights to manage risk, dependencies, and outcomes. The role encompasses strategic leadership in change management, stakeholder engagement, and resource optimization, In doing so, you will evolve and scale GPX’s launch and execution center of excellence while solving strategic business challenges to achieve longterm Product Group objectives.

Role Description:

  • Demonstrate thought leadership in developing and introducing different ways of approaching delivery

  • Identify and manage project teams through ambiguity by defining the appropriate path or framework

  • Develop product subject matter expertise and a true end-to-end understanding of CG’s entire product management lifecycle

  • Design and implement solutions to solve strategic business problems as they relate to product launches and product changes

  • Own end-to-end execution of investment vehicle product launches and material product changes (e.g., guidelines, liquidations/mergers) of varying complexity and type through effective planning, organization, communication, implementation and management of corresponding project teams

  • Manage project teams in a matrix environment and evolve the product development and launch capabilities by staying connected and up to speed on project management disciplines

  • Build and execute a change management strategy and plan — leveraging change management practitioners for high-impact efforts — that includes a communication and content development strategy to effectively engage stakeholder groups through the most connective channels across Europe and Asia.

  • Stakeholder management and influencing across the organization

  • Create appropriate deliverables such as work plans, scope, cost estimates, resource plans and governance structure

  • Manage critical paths, dependencies, and multiple concurrent initiatives to deliver intended business outcomes

  • Apply disciplined governance and risk management, ensuring clear accountability, timely issue escalation, and predictable delivery across stakeholders and partners

  • Build structure and operational rigor through planning, controls, and datadriven reporting to manage scope, timeline, budget, and quality

  • Partner crossfunctionally to secure the right resources, optimize performance, and deliver highquality outcomes

  • Partnering with Global Technology to build and evolve Product Hub to enable the business to scale and achieve efficiency

  • Continuously improve launch execution, identifying opportunities in our processes and technology suite to standardize, scale, and strengthen the GPX center of excellence

  • You have a minimum of 7 years of project management experience with a track record of successful execution of assigned projects to deliver business outcomes based on key drivers (e.g., time, budget, resources, scope)

  • Experience working in the asset management industry (e.g., mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, private funds) and/or familiarity with a wide variety of investment products and vehicles including UCITS Funds would be strongly preferred for this role

  • You are an experienced leader who builds high performing project teams by maintaining high performance standards; you will help develop talent across the teams through mentorship and coaching

  • You have a foundational understanding and/or are skilled in Agile (e.g. SAFe, Scrum & Kanban) and Product Mode Delivery)

  • You have experience building and executing change management strategies, including stakeholder engagement, communication planning, and adoption measurement

  • You've partnered cross-functionally to solve complex problems and have the confidence and courage to influence others and add value with a focus on understanding and managing the impact of change

  • You've had previous success with strategic and/or operational project delivery experience (business strategy, technology systems, vendor management), and have the ability to apply and lead flexible delivery models to execute the work

  • You are a skilled communicator and can facilitate ambiguous and challenging discussions. You place a high value on being authentic, respectful and engaging. You've fine-tuned your communication style to connect with a variety of stakeholders including executive-level stakeholders

  • When developing and executing a plan, you consider long term impacts and make a personal commitment to exploring diverse perspectives and dissenting viewpoints with a continuous improvement mindset

  • You thrive on challenges and enjoy partnering with others to achieve meaningful results

  • You have project management experience and may have experience in product development, product planning and product launch leading successful business and/or technology enterprise projects from initiation through deployment

  • You can manage multiple initiatives at once, with varying levels of complexity and regional nuances

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
