2-Year Sales Analyst, Investor Relations (Canada)

Position Summary
Responsibilities
- Senior executive support
- Market and LP postings to Relationship Management teams (e.g., daily news updates, RFP postings, etc.)
- Ad hoc projects to provide Relationship Managers with leverage to optimize fundraising
- CRM (DealCloud)
- Track and analyze Regional and RM-specific fundraising pipelines from prospective investor stage through fund commitments
- Review and maintain external communication distribution lists, including data room access for live fundraises
- Limited Partner engagement
- Conduct LP research and prospecting including investor profiling
- Create client specific presentations and marketing materials
- LP Meeting coordination and tracking
- Fund-specific projects
- Roadshow Meeting Briefs
- Investment Consultant support builds
- Competitor / fund research
- Conferences & Events
- Global Investor Conference LP coordination, logistics, etc.
- Conference circuit LP target lists, Carlyle attendee postings, etc.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 1-3 years of prior experience in Investor Relations or Financial Services
- Strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Understanding of financial markets, alternative investments, and portfolio construction
- Critical thinker with strong analytical skills
- Team-oriented with a strong sense of accountability, responsiveness, and follow-through
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Thoughtful and client-savvy, able to understand nuances of Sales / LP lifecycle
- Proactive with the ability to handle projects with minimal training or oversight
- Resourceful and highly adaptable
