Position Summary
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with deal teams and product leads to understand workflows and identify AI opportunities
- Translate qualitative insights into technical prompts, user flows, and prototype requirements
- Work closely with the AI Product Manager to prioritize and deliver pilot projects
- Demonstrated experience applying NLP and data science techniques—such as embeddings, summarization, and vector search—to solve practical problems
- Familiarity with modern LLM frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face) is preferred
- Design and optimize LLM prompts for tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Hebbia
- Develop structured prompt chains and validate model output quality
- Build early POC functionality in Python using vendor APIs, LangChain/RAG frameworks, or vector stores, with a strong bias toward rapid prototyping and iterative development. Leverage vendor APIs, commercial platforms, or low-code tools to validate use cases efficiently.
- Analyze internal data sets (Snowflake, Chronograph, unstructured documents) to inform prompt design
- Partner with data stewards and analysts to ensure appropriate access, security, and formatting
- Help identify the best source of truth for AI-powered use cases
- Partner with deal teams to test early features and collect feedback
- Create training materials and demos to increase adoption and understanding
- Serve as the connective tissue between investment users and technical builders
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Concentration in computer science, data science, finance, economics, mathematics, or any quantitative field, preferred
- Master’s degree in computer science, data science, finance, economics, mathematics, or any quantitative field, preferred
- Minimum of 6+ years of relevant technical experience, required
- Experience in a business analyst, product analyst, or applied data role (financial services or enterprise SaaS), preferred
- Background in private equity, finance, or consulting is a plus

- Experience working with LLMs (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) and understanding of prompt design best practices
- Proficiency in Python and experience calling APIs or working with LLM frameworks (e.g., LangChain, OpenAI, Anthropic)
- Strong analytical thinker with experience working with structured data sets (SQL, Snowflake, etc.)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Curious, resourceful, and energized by emerging AI capabilities
