Position Summary
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end redesign of Carlyle.com, ensuring alignment with brand identity, business goals, user needs, and technology infrastructure.
- Serve as product owner of the corporate website, maintaining a user-first lens while balancing input from stakeholders across the organization.
- Manage and coordinate a cross-functional team—including vendors, UX designers, developers, and internal subject matter experts—to deliver against project goals and timelines.
- Oversee UX research and testing to validate design decisions and ensure intuitive, accessible, and engaging user journeys.
- Define and maintain robust website governance practices, including content workflows, compliance protocols, and accessibility standards.
- Translate business and marketing requirements into clear user stories, technical specifications, and feature requests for development teams.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement marketing technology platforms that support digital engagement, personalization, and campaign performance.
- Ensure the seamless integration of MarTech tools—including analytics, tag management, CRM, digital asset management (DAM), and email marketing platforms—within the website and broader digital ecosystem.
- Collaborate closely with the Global Technology & Solutions (GTS) team and compliance partners to ensure scalable, secure, and compliant use of marketing technologies.
- Act as a thought partner to marketing and technology teams in shaping Carlyle’s long-term MarTech roadmap, including platform rationalization, vendor selection, and future-state architecture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; degree in digital media, computer science, marketing, or related field preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in website strategy, UX product ownership, and digital project management, ideally within financial services or another regulated industry.
- Strong understanding of UX principles, design systems, responsive frameworks, and accessibility (WCAG) standards.
- Experience managing external agencies and internal cross-functional stakeholders.
- Familiarity with modern CMS platforms (e.g., Drupal, Adobe Experience Manager), front-end technologies, and APIs.
- Experience implementing or working alongside MarTech platforms such as Salesforce and Adobe.
- Agile or hybrid project management experience, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and cross-team coordination.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Strong executive presence and ability to translate complex digital concepts into clear business outcomes.
- PMP, CSM, or UX certification is a plus.
- Ability to work with a hybrid environment
