Compliance Coordinator

Position Summary
Responsibilities
- Assist with compliance oversight of Carlyle's electronic communications retention program, including review of electronic communications and social media;
- Assist with the compliance onboarding process for new employees
- Assist with monitoring of employees' adherence to Carlyle's Insider Trading Policy, including brokerage account onboarding and broker feed maintenance;
- Assist with responses to and organization of compliance-related investor diligence requests, including role in the management of Carlyle's new due diligence questionnaire tool;
- Assist in monitoring of general compliance email inbox;
- Assist with periodic testing of compliance policies in respect of Carlyle's global private equity funds;
- Assist with information requests for annual compliance policy supervisory reviews and periodic regulatory reviews;
- Assist with follow-up with employees on outstanding compliance tasks, and maintenance of compliance files and documentation; and
- Other duties as needed and assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with solid academic performance
- 3-4 years of Legal or Compliance experience; Financial Services experience preferred
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat and computer skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Superior work ethic and professional habits
