Position Summary
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain dynamic financial models supporting segment-level planning, budgeting, reforecasting, and strategic decision-making
- Own the budget-to-actual tracking process, monitor variances and identify key drivers, and work with the Associate Vice President on delivering clear commentary for senior leadership review
- Facilitate the annual budget and reforecast processes for the GPE CFO group, coordinating inputs across fund families and functional teams
- Develop and maintain multi-year financial forecasts across GPE, building deep fluency in the segment’s financial profile and projections
- Develop high-quality presentation materials for quarterly business reviews, investor communications, and internal leadership
- Synthesize complex financial and operational data into clear, concise narratives for the Associate Vice President and senior leadership
- Support long-term planning, including scenario analysis and evaluation of growth initiatives and new product opportunities
- Collaborate with the Associate Vice President and team leadership to develop ad hoc Fund Management-related materials and analysis
- Participate in working groups for department and firm-wide initiatives, including technology enhancements and process improvements
- Leverage data tools and emerging technologies (including generative AI) to enhance analytical capabilities and improve efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Concentration in Finance, Accounting, or Economics preferred
- CPA or CFA coursework or certification is a plus, but not required
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or a related field, required
- Financial services experience preferred
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with high attention to detail
- Exceptional PowerPoint and storytelling abilities, with a focus on communicating to senior audiences
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and operate independently in a high-performance environment
- Experience in FP&A functions such as monthly/quarterly reporting, financial modeling, and business partnering preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders
- Intellectual curiosity and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Familiarity with data tools and a demonstrated interest in leveraging technology to enhance analysis
- Availability outside of normal business hours during quarter-end cycles and on special projects
- High integrity and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Interest in alternative asset management and financial services
