Your role at Clorox:
We are seeking a results-oriented Accountant to join Clorox's dynamic Andean Cluster Accounting Group. As a key team member, you'll drive efficient accounting close processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide actionable financial insights for strategic decision-making. Your ability to lead and motivate a high-performing team while optimizing processes will be essential in delivering timely, accurate financial reporting and supporting robust internal controls.In this role, you will:
Prepare and present the monthly TOP Line for the Andean Cluster, providing actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
Analyze monthly Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet statements to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
Partner with the Accounting Manager and Controller to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Lead all aspects of internal control activities across plant and sales operations to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
Proactively identify and report control deficiencies, recommending corrective actions to maintain financial integrity.
Conduct thorough investigations of potential violations of company policies and procedures.
Manage audit activities, ensuring compliance with audit schedules and addressing auditor inquiries effectively.
Collaborate with auditors to resolve issues and provide clarification on financial data and processes.
What we look for:
Public Accountant with 5+ years of experience in multinational company or equivalent working experience
In-depth knowledge of Peruvian tax laws (retention at source, VAT, Income Tax, SUNAT)
Proficiency in U.S. GAAP IFRS, and financial statements
Proficiency in SAP and MS Office
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Intermediate English level
Strong analytical accounting skills
Prioritization and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in teams and with cross functional partners
