Your role at Clorox:

As a Finance Manager within our Cleaning Division you will be responsible for providing strong financial leadership and insights to functional and business unit leaders around new product commercialization, Strategy development and ongoing decision support.

In this role, you will:

  • Play a key leadership role in driving growth for the Cleaning Segment by partnering with project teams & leadership team members to develop pro-forma P&L projections and DCF valuations for new product launches and adjacency expansion opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills to clearly articulate complex ideas to stakeholders, and ability to design presentations materials that anticipate the audience’s potential issues and questions.
  • Become a valued advisor to cross-functional partners through smooth communication, and providing guidance on the appropriate depth of analytics and sensitivity of financial inputs.
  • Facilitate clear decision making by supporting capital investment & cost savings analysis, business modeling analysis, and a-hoc analysis as required.
  • Own the evaluation and modeling of pricing changes, new product pricing and system set up of pricing within the workflow process and ensuring compliance with internal controls.
  • Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset by proactively identifying, championing and driving process improvement to consistently improve ways of working and arrive at consumer based insights faster.
  • Partner with Cost and Forecast teams to ensure consistency between financials analysis and current operational plans.

What we look for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum six years of related finance and accounting experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to independently prioritize
  • Proven track record of working in a cross functional environment and forming solid relationships with other teams and work groups
  • Strong ability to influence others and drive change
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Consumer Packaged Goods or Manufacturing industry experience
  • HFM, Essbase, SAP or other ERP systems experience

Hybrid: (3 days a week onsite; Durham, Oakland, Alpharetta)

Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.

Zone A: $104,100 - $199,100
Zone B: $95,500 - $183,300
Zone C: $86,800 - $166,600

This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
