Your role at Clorox:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Plant Staffing Administrator to join our team. The Staffing Administrator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our organization Production Teams by managing the production team staffing process across all production lines. They will support the accurate accounting of time for the production teams ensuring accurate timecards for team manager approvals. This position requires strong communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a deep understanding of employment regulations and payroll processes.

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with production scheduler and department managers to assess weekly staffing needs.

  • Manage in collaboration with managers the weekly scheduling of vacations, overtime, and holidays to support production staffing requirements.

  • Ensure weekly staffing schedule is following all Federal, State, and Plant employment regulations and guidelines.

  • Monitor and assign OT based off current plant guidelines and production team needs.

  • Communicates effectively and timely with management and production scheduler on hourly production team staffing issues.

  • Attend Daily Tier 3 meeting.

  • Other ad hoc requests and/or projects to support the overall plant and business.

What we look for:

  • Ability to manage and approve vacation requests and leave of absence for team manager, ensuring appropriate staffing levels are maintained while aligning with company policies and integrating with the UKG payroll system.

  • Strong experience in collaborating with production managers to create and adjust production schedules, utilizing advanced Excel skills to ensure optimal staffing and smooth operations

  • Capability to ensure adequate coverage across all production departments by filling staffing gaps, managing short-term absences, and preventing disruptions in plant operations with a workforce of 300+ employees.

  • Demonstrated skill in conflict resolution and working closely with managers to resolve scheduling and staffing issues, optimizing team performance while leveraging the UKG payroll system to manage workforce needs efficiently.

  • Continuous improvement mindset, specifically the ability to identify, design and implement process updates to streamline tasks and retain/improve quality.

  • Good organizational and time management skills.

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to identify and predict issues and risks.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and data integrity.

  • Strong planning and organizational skills.

  • Proficient in PC applications (e.g. Excel, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint)

  • High School Deploma or GED

  • Must be at least 18 years old

Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.

Zone A: $25.82 - $44.95
Zone B: $23.65 - $41.20
Zone C: $21.54 - $37.45
