Your role at Clorox:
Clorox is looking for a Region Sales Manager to partner with internal stakeholders across multiple functions to help develop and execute our business plans. The ideal candidate will foster strong relationships with the customer, help enhance the online experience, turn data into insights and deliver outstanding in-store execution. As the Regional Sales Manager (leading the Kroger / Clorox Litter business), you will join a collaborative team to help drive growth focusing on sales, omni and retail experiences.Interested but only meet some of the requirements listed? In this role, you will:
- Develop and execute business plans that meet/exceed sales, profit, share, and trade efficiency targets for assigned businesses.
- Lead and direct all activities to meet HH pen, conversion & sales targets, while mining insights into action.
- Help develop and execute assortment strategy in-store and online – works directly with Clorox sales planning and Kroger buying teams to align on targets and approach.
- Leverage 84.51 & Circana data to support strategy and maintain strong alignment with Kroger Category Manager on direction of key categories/segments.
This role with be responsible for four key areas:
- Owning the Litter / Pet business (65%)
- Manage relationship with Crossmark and internal stakeholders for both businesses (25%)
- Mining data and insights to develop strong selling strategies (10%)
What we look for:
Key Skills, Abilities, And Experience Required
- 5+ years of CPG experience
- Analytically minded people
- Intellectual curiosity to seek the why and how beyond the WHAT
- Customer facing experience; Kroger experience is beneficial
- Proficient on key Clorox/Sales analytical tools
- Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint) and Power BI
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information to a broad audience concisely
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Consultative/Solution selling
- Category Business Planning and Insights
