Your role at Clorox:

As the CAS Team Leader you will spearhead the development of future omnichannel category development capabilities for the category advisory team within a culture that cultivates curiosity, inclusion and diversity. This role requires an individual with strong digital acumen, who will serve a trusted strategic thought partner to merchant leaders and enable unbiased, shopper-led, category growth strategies and recommendations. This role leads multiple advisorships within the Category Advisor Team.

In this role, you will:

Description

  • Drives growth and advancement of the Category Advisorship capability at Clorox, leading and developing a team of advisors and ensuring a curious, growth mindset culture within the team.
  • Bring digital expertise to drive an omni approach; championing strategies, reporting frameworks and tactical recommendations to jointly drive in-store and online business
  • Champions predictive, data-driven and actionable insights to provide strategic and tactical category omni recommendations to merchants.
  • Develops trusted relationships with merchant leaders founded on a commitment to deliver unbiased category growth opportunities.
  • Develops business routines and provides clear expectations to the team regarding category-leading capabilities and deliverables.
  • Oversees the end-to-end modular relay process across multiple categories to enable a frictionless omnichannel shopper experience.
  • Builds a culture engagement and accountability within the team and across the Clorox office, while keeping an external pulse on industry developments and mega trends in retail.
  • Advocates for resources and technology necessary to drive efficient work processes and provide leading category capabilities.
  • Partners internally with data capabilities, category leadership accelerator, shopper insights, eCom teams.

What we look for:

  • 8+ years’ experience in category management, data analytics or a sales role
  • Strong strategic thought leadership and ability transform insights and ideas into compelling recommendations
  • Experience leading direct and cross-functional teams
  • Strong digital acumen and experience developing omni strategies
  • Excellent problem solving & analytical ability
  • Comfort with ambiguity and translating data to insights; strong storytelling expertise
  • Technical Skills: JDA, PowerBI, Luminate, Circana
  • High degree of self-motivation and discipline
  • Exceptional interpersonal & communication skills (both written & verbal)
  • Ability to work independently with enterprise mindset and develop a relationship with key stakeholders

Workplace type:

This role will be required to be within 50 miles of a Clorox Hub office and abiding by the Hybrid 2.0 policy. Additionally, this role is posted to pipeline candidates for future opportunities within Clorox.

We use broad salary ranges that reflect the competitive market for similar jobs, provide sufficient opportunity for growth as you gain experience and expand responsibilities, while also allowing for differentiation based on performance. Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.

Zone A: $144,200 - $289,900
Zone B: $132,200 - $265,700
Zone C: $120,200 - $241,600

This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
