Your role at Clorox:
The successful candidate will be an experienced Supply Chain / Manufacturing Leader that has demonstrated the ability to be a transformational leader within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Skills required include managing and developing a diverse workforce of people (salaried and hourly), delivering results across key performance metrics including safety, quality, and cost, supporting the launch of new products (change management and technical expertise), and driving continuous improvement through TRACC.This role leads and owns all functions at the site, including Production, Distribution, Continuous Improvement, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, HSE, Finance, and HR. The Plant Manager is responsible for recruiting and leading the workforce while enabling a culture of diverse, empowered people focused on delivering world-class results. The Plant manager actively participates in the Plant Manager community of practice and Burts Supply Chain Leadership team to ensure knowledge transfer, prioritization and standardization where applicable.
Key attributes of success in the role will include rapid improvement in quality results, focus on culture (employee engagement and empowerment), and driving productivity gains through efficiency improvements, simplification efforts and supply chain synchronization. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills and be clear and decisive on key priorities to drive improvements that lead to site and company success.
In this role, you will:
Strategy
- Support BU Supply Chain strategy development and lead BU manufacturing improvement strategies into site level plans
- Develop strategies and establish priorities for self and direct reports
- Cascade site level strategies into KPIs to assess progress vs. plan. Translate appropriate KPIs across tiered management teams to ensure accountability at the right level of the organization. When off track, create and implement plans to correct
- Responsible for delivering all site level plans, inclusive of people, quality, safety, financial and operational improvements
Capability Building and Continuous Improvement
- Provide leadership to implement sustainable processes that deliver superior results
Operational Oversight
- Excel in leading managers, teams and individuals through analytical problem solving, prioritizing issues and escalation where needed. Provide leadership to solve problems elevated to tier 3. Leverage mature judgment to understand when to escalate to tier 4
- Experience in operational budget development and management (financial acumen)
- Champion operational excellence transformation at the site level
- Conduct process health checks, GEMBA, and learn from previous ways of working to enable pace of implementation and new change management routines
Leadership
- Adept at navigating the complexities of ambiguity, with a proven ability to forge ahead and drive strategic initiatives to fruition amidst a landscape of competing priorities
- Demonstrated ability to coach and develop the next generation of Supply Chain leaders through direct engagement and coaching, including effectively developing overall performance management plans
- Create and maintain strong partnership with legal and employee relations
- Drive, model, champion and support desired plant culture, vision, team-based structure, and skill-based pay for performance system
- Monitor direct reports' performance and the performance of their teams provide feedback, leveraging recognition programs and supporting behavior modification.
- Demonstrated excellent presentation, organizational, analytical, written communication, and verbal/nonverbal communication skills.
- Exceptional Leadership ability with high EQ and demonstrated success in interpersonal skills and relationship building.
- Willing/able to be flexible and work off-shift work and travel as needed.
Technical
- In-depth expertise in at least three of the core Supply Chain functions (Plan, Source, Make, Deliver)
- Understand Vista/Elevate and MES journey and impact to manufacturing site. Partner effectively with plant EIC and central IT teams to ensure effective change management and technology adoption at the site
- Collaborate with R&D, quality, planning and production services to ensure effective change management, prioritization and planning at the site (will include OTV and IBP participation)
What we look for:
- 15+ Years of manufacturing leadership experience in all operational functions of manufacturing (people, quality, safety, engineering. scheduling, material flow, maintenance, finance)
- Demonstrated experience delivering results as a Site Manager with total site responsibilities (or equivalent).
- Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, communication and teambuilding skills
- Ability to understand manufacturing, business processes and systems
- Strong leadership in a TPM/Continuous Improvement environment. Experience implementing TRACC continuous improvement methodology a strong plus
- Ability to prioritize, plan and execute multiple projects/activities
- Safety leadership experience
- Flexibility for travel up to 10%.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (preferably Engineering or Technology oriented).

Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.
–Zone A: $171,700 - $352,600
–Zone B: $157,400 - $324,200
–Zone C: $143,100 - $294,700
