Your role at Clorox:
The Product Costing Analyst plays a critical role in the development of standard costs, as well as in forecasting and analyzing variances to those standards.As a key business partner, you will help facilitate company strategies and goals by translating operating activities and results into actionable consumer and business insights. Within Finance, your work will drive decision-making across the organization and contribute to building strong, market-leading brands that make everyday life better—every day.
In this role, you will:
Product Costing & Controls: Run product cost estimates in S/4HANA, support annual standard cost creation, and ensure compliance with internal controls.
Financial Closing & Reporting: Execute monthly/quarterly close per GAAP, prepare journal entries and reconciliations, and deliver variance analysis.
Forecasting & Insights: Prepare forecasts for COGS and provide recommendations that support business decisions.
Collaboration & Issue Resolution: Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve costing challenges and drive process/system improvements.
Reporting & Analytics: Enhance reporting using Power Query, Power BI, and Power Automate to deliver impactful analysis and visualization.

What we look for:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
3+ years of experience in Accounting and/or Cost Analysis, preferably within the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) or Manufacturing industry.
Advanced experience with data analytics, databases, and ERP systems (S/4HANA preferred).
Strong knowledge of financial statements; familiarity with US GAAP is a plus.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in English.
