As you navigate through the various stages of product development, you will be able to see the tangible results of your work with close collaboration from Packaging, Microbiology, Regulatory, Marketing, Product Supply, and Sales.
This role will report to the Business Innovation & Solutions - R&D Associate Director.
This position will be located in our Pleasanton, CA office, and the individual will be expected to be in the office a minimum of 3 days a week.
In this role, you will:
To achieve your goals, you will:
Serve as Strategic Product and Process Development Leader, ensuring rigorous execution and technical excellence across high-impact projects.
Architect and oversee comprehensive technical validation plans and drive the development of novel test methodologies in partnership with internal experts.
Forge and nurture relationships with key partners, leading to the identification and integration of innovative solutions aligned with business objectives.
Champion intellectual property and exclusionary strategy development, safeguarding competitive advantage and long-term growth.
Lead projects making pivotal, data-driven technical recommendations that accelerate efficiency, mitigate risk, and maximize business outcomes.
Foster a culture of open learning, technical curiosity, and breakthrough thinking, promoting collaborative innovation and continuous improvement across R&D and cross-functional teams.
What we look for:
Experience required
Master or Bachelor degree or equivalent experience from an accredited institution in Science or Engineering
Minimum of 4 years experience, preferably in consumer products with a focus on Product and/or Process Development.
Experience with Scaled Agile process is a plus
Experience with EPA-registered products is an advantage.

Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.
–Zone A: $106,700 - $204,900
–Zone B: $97,800 - $187,900
–Zone C: $88,900 - $170,800
