Your role at Clorox:

The Clorox Company is seeking a qualified candidate for Inventory Control Specialist, reporting to the Logistics Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting operational processes, and ensuring compliance with company standards. You will collaborate with multiple teams to drive inventory accuracy and efficiency. The primary responsibility for this position is to safeguard the plant’s inventory; ensuring we adhere to and maintain compliance with all corporate directives governing inventory management. The role will require strong leadership and communication skills as well as the ability to effectively influence peers. The employee must demonstrate and sustain proficiency in the areas of Safety, Quality, Housekeeping, Production and Cost. Perform other duties as assigned.


Hourly rate: $33.15. Scheduled shift: Saturday- Wednesday: 1pm- 9:30pm.

In this role, you will:

Operational Support

  • Review and clear all suspense items from U0MR daily.

  • Perform daily COGI and MIGO maintenance and review.

  • Assist, train, and coordinate non-BOM material movements (dunnage, whitewood, totes/drums, recycle) to prevent overcapacity.

  • Provide backup support for Dock Coordinator, Logistics Lead, and Customer Service Representatives as needed.

  • Support IDMS reconciliations and scheduling of live unloads.

  • Coordinate transportation/shipment needs for returning materials to vendors.

  • Collaborate with Quality team to ensure raw material and finished goods holds are uploaded into SAP.

  • Participate in daily problem-solving sessions to identify gaps in inventory accuracy and other departmental issues.

Vista EWM Support

  • Provide feedback on system logic related to inventory staging and processes.

  • Train team members on EWM processes, including cycle counting and material receival/putaway.

  • Prepare for Vista Go-Live by capturing accurate inventory data for a smooth start-up.

  • Conduct data validity tests to ensure inventory locations and counts are accurate.

  • Investigate handling unit discrepancies and troubleshoot missed EWM steps.

  • Assist in balancing inventory at the end of production runs.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to convey information clearly and confidently while actively listening to others.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of SAP is a plus.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; able to prioritize, multitask, and execute with urgency.

  • Ability to lead and adapt to change effectively; confident in ambiguous or stressful situations.

  • Results-driven mindset with a positive attitude and perseverance to achieve goals.

  • Has functional knowledge and expertise in connection with individual and or plant business goals.

  • Possesses sound technical knowledge, skills and abilities.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Be willing to work flexible hours and overtime as needed. Workdays and schedule may change periodically for training purposes, and according to business needs.

  • Meets overall selection criteria in the areas of performance, leadership, attendance, job skills, and other criteria specifically established for this position. Minimum Group 5-6 level.
