Your role at Clorox:

The Quality Data Analytics and Insights Engineer is a senior specialist role within Global Quality Assurance, responsible for enabling data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement across Clorox’s global quality systems. This position develops and maintains advanced analytics solutions, dashboards, and predictive models that provide actionable insights into product quality, compliance, and operational performance. By leveraging data science, automation, and visualization technologies, the role ensures accurate KPI governance, supports risk mitigation, and drives innovation in quality processes. Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and the ability to translate complex data into strategic recommendations are essential to safeguard consumer trust and regulatory compliance.

In this role, you will:

1. Data Architecture & Analytics Development

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data models, pipelines, and dashboards using tools such as Power BI and SQL.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and governance across multiple sources including electronic Quality Management Systems (eQMS), enterprise resource planning systems (ERP) and consumer complaint systems (CRM).
  • Define, drive and own best practices for Master Data Management for Quality Management Master Data.

2. Advanced Insights & Predictive Analytics

  • Apply statistical methods, and predictive modeling to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for quality improvement.
  • Develop algorithms and automated reporting solutions to support proactive decision-making.

3 . KPI Governance & Performance Reporting

  • Define, optimize and monitor key quality metrics (e.g., complaint resolution time, nonconformance closure rate).
  • Deliver timely, accurate reports and visualizations to stakeholders, enabling transparency and accountability.

4. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Partner with Supply Chain, other business functions, and Data Analytics teams to align data strategy and priorities.
  • Drive adoption of analytics tools and best practices through training and capability building.

What we look for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in analytics or data science, preferably within Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations, or Quality Assurance.
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools.
  • Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Experience in KPI development and performance tracking.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or similar programming languages (preferred).
  • Knowledge of AI/ML, automation, and cloud-based data platforms (preferred).
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt strongly (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, problem-solving, critical thinking, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, including knowledge of data governance, ETL processes, and predictive analytics.
  • Project management experience (preferred).
  • Hybrid schedule – in office 3 days per week.
  • Travel: 0–25%.

We use broad salary ranges that reflect the competitive market for similar jobs, provide sufficient opportunity for growth as you gain experience and expand responsibilities, while also allowing for differentiation based on performance. Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.

–Zone A: $88,700 - $165,900

–Zone B: $81,300 - $152,100

–Zone C: $73,900 - $138,300

This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
