Your role at Clorox:
We are looking for a Senior Quality Sanitation Specialist to lead sanitation and environmental monitoring strategies across multiple plants, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene, compliance, and microbial risk prevention.This role plays a critical part in strengthening our quality systems, driving continuous improvement, and implementing data-driven sanitation programs that protect product integrity and operational excellence.
In this role, you will:
You will lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of cleaning, inspection, sanitation, and environmental monitoring programs across multiple sites. You will ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory standards, enhance hygienic design and cleaning validation processes, and proactively manage contamination risks through data analysis, risk-based monitoring, and CAPA effectiveness.
You will also serve as a key advisor and trainer for plant teams, partnering with Quality, Operations, Engineering, EH&S, external manufacturers, vendors, and laboratories to maintain robust hygiene programs
🚀 Key Responsibilities:
Lead sanitation and environmental monitoring programs across multiple plants, ensuring compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.
Manage microbiological risks through data analysis, trend monitoring, root cause investigations, and CAPA implementation.
Oversee and validate cleaning processes and SSOPs, improving efficiency and supporting hygienic design with Engineering.
Conduct audits and train plant teams, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
Act as a subject matter expert in microbial risk assessment, defining controls, monitoring requirements, and contamination prevention strategies

What we look for:
🎯 What We’re Looking For:
✔ 6+ years of experience in sanitation, quality, microbiology, or food safety in manufacturing environments
✔ Strong operational knowledge of GMP, sanitation processes, and environmental monitoring programs
✔ Experience with CAPA, risk management, and quality systems
✔ Expertise in cleaning validation, CIP/COP processes, and hygienic design principles
✔ Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
✔ Ability to work cross-functionally and influence teams across multiple sites
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field
✔ Availability to travel up to 40%
✔ Advanced English level (written and spoken) required
✔ Experience with FSMA, HACCP, PCQI, AOAC/ISO/USP methods, or ISO 17025 is a plus
