Your role at Clorox:

This role will be responsible for enabling business growth through appropriate application of analytic methods, business and consumer knowledge in the Business Units (BUs) for Canada and AMEA markets; identifying and promoting productive framing of business issues; understanding and applying core Analytics & Data Science (A&DS) approaches to solve business problems; and further driving value through working with the broader A&DS teams in identifying, building, scaling, and embedding advanced analytical capabilities. This position builds functional capability through best practice implementation or process development to ensure that A&DS has significant impact on business decisions; drives appropriate application of analytical capability to address business issues; builds strong business and cross-functional relationships through succinct communication and influenceability; and be a direct voice in business decisions or application of analytics.

In this role, you will:

Proficiently perform and apply advanced analytics techniques, including but not limited to:

  • Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM)
  • Test & control analysis (ANCOVA)
  • Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA)
  • Predictive modeling and forecasting
  • Price and promotion modeling and simulation
  • Spend optimization
  • Market structure analysis and interpretation
  • Digital media & performance analytics
  • Forecasting / predictive modeling with sales and consumer data

Influence cross-functional teams through storytelling, data translation, and strategic framing.

  • Communicate complex analytical findings in clear, compelling ways to business and technical audiences.
  • Interpret complex datasets and synthesize findings into actionable insights for diverse stakeholders.
  • Ensure full utilization of consumer, competitive category, and other functional analytical knowledge to guide strategy with Marketing, Sales, Finance, IBP and VTO for the BU.

Develop recommendations and implications to guide BU plans to deliver business results

  • Focus on adoption of A&DS methods by BUs that lead to better, faster decisions
  • Improve business ROI in the BUs
  • Improve A&DS efficiency in key functional areas
  • Contribute to BU goals and priority setting
  • Use analytics in decision making in the BUs

Champion A&DS with business teams and build strong cross-functional relationships to drive business integration of insights.

  • Act as a strategic partner to Marketing and BU leadership, aligning analytics with key priorities and opportunities.

Support other A&DS functional teams and project work – e.g. Capability Enablement, Measurement, Data Science, where needed

What we look for:

Years and Type of Experience

  • 7+ years of business experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 5+ years with an advanced degree.
  • Experience in the digital/media analytics space at agency or client preferred.

Technical & Analytical skills:

  • Expertise in using Excel/SQL and advanced abilities in using other Microsoft 365 tools
  • Experience with using visualization/dashboarding tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) to simplify insight discovery
  • Comprehensive understanding of and demonstrated abilities in applying advanced analytic techniques including but not limited to MMMs, forecasting (statistical analysis and modeling), pricing, optimization & market structure
  • Excellent analytical and connective thinking - proven ability to interpret complex data and express implications of analysis to stakeholders and internal teams
  • Demonstrated understanding and desire to learn more about ETL processes, other data mining tools, cloud platforms (Azure, GCP), and agentic AI evolvement and application

Business & Soft skills:

  • Excellent communications skills. Ability to synthesize, simplify, and explain complex problems to different audiences across functions and levels. Ability to convey insight through storytelling
  • Detail-orientation with the ability to see how details fit into the overall picture
  • Excellent time and project management skills with the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment
  • Great interpersonal skills that help drive fact-based decision making across cross-functional teams.

Education Level/Degree:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher with quantitative focus in relevant field such as Marketing Analytics, Marketing Communication, Marketing Research, Business Administration, Economics, Econometrics, Statistics, Data Science, or related applied quantitative field or equivalent working experience.
  • MS or MBA strongly preferred

  • Non-Sales: $109,104 - $159,104

  • Sales: $94,928 - $144,928
