Your role at Clorox:
The IBP Senior Manager / Associate Director is a critical leadership role within the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) organization, responsible for owning the end-to-end demand, supply, and production planning integration for the business unit. This role serves as the primary bridge between strategy and execution, ensuring near, mid, and longterm plans are aligned to enterprise strategic objectives.
This leader will own the forecast, demand planning, and supply/production planning integration, while guiding the team’s day-to-day priorities, removing obstacles, and elevating the quality of insights, planning narratives, and decision support provided to senior leadership. The role acts as a thought partner to the IBP Director, supporting strategic integration, executive narrative building, and crossfunctional alignment across the business.

In this role, you will:
End-to-End IBP Ownership
- Owns the integrated demand, supply, and production planning process, ensuring alignment across forecast, capacity, inventory, and financial outcomes.
- Serves as the single point of accountability for translating demand signals into feasible, optimized supply and production plans across planning horizons.
- Ensures plans are unbiased, risk informed, and aligned with long-term strategic objectives.
- Oversees consolidated demand forecasting and scenario development, ensuring appropriate driver attribution, risk/opportunity identification, and assumptions.
- Ensures supply, network, and production plans are robust, executable, and aligned to demand scenarios and financial commitments.
- Leads tradeoff discussions across demand, capacity, inventory, service, and cost, escalating only materially differentiated options to senior leadership.
- Maintains a strong longterm (2–5 year) view of demand, supply, and network implications to support strategic business objectives and growth initiatives.
- Partners with cross functional leaders to assess strategic initiatives (e.g., innovation, portfolio changes, network investments, capacity decisions).
- Ensures planning outputs support strategic decision-making rather than solely short-term execution.
- Directly manages the Network Planning Manager (GL27) and Business Planning Manager (GL26).
- Sets clear priorities and direction for the team, balancing daily execution needs with strategic deliverables.
- Coaches and develops team members to elevate technical rigor, business acumen, and executive communication.
- Ensures consistency, quality, and cadence across demand, supply, and planning deliverables.
- Partners closely with the GL29 IBP Director to build integrated planning narratives, executive materials, and business storytelling.
- Synthesizes complex demand, supply, and financial data into clear insights, risks, tradeoffs, and recommendations.
- Prepares content for IBP forums, scenario reviews, leadership discussions, and executive decision moments.
- Acts as a trusted planning partner to Finance, Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain leadership.
- Drives proactive cross functional engagement to surface risks early and ensure alignment on assumptions and actions.
- Supports consistent IBP ways of working and continuous improvement of planning processes, tools, and governance.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Integrated Business Planning, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Network Planning, or related disciplines.
- Proven experience leading endtoend IBP / S&OP / ISA processes and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Experience managing and developing managers and/or senior individual contributors.
- CPG or fastmoving consumer goods experience preferred.
- Enterprise Thinking: Ability to balance shortterm execution with longterm strategy.
- Strategic Problem Solving: Framing tradeoffs and decisions in ambiguous, complex environments.
- Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of P&L, working capital, tradeoffs across cost, service, and inventory.
- Analytical Rigor: Deep understanding of demand and supply planning drivers, scenarios, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Executive Communication: Ability to translate complexity into clear, compelling leadership narratives.
- Leadership Presence: Confident, credible partner to senior leaders across functions.
- Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Analytics, Business preferred)
