Your role at Clorox:

At Clorox, we are looking for a strategic and forward-thinking Procurement Leader to own and transform our Chemicals category within the global raw materials portfolio.

This role goes beyond traditional sourcing — you will shape category strategy, drive innovation with suppliers, and leverage AI and digital tools to unlock value, strengthen resilience, and support sustainable growth.

In this role, you will:

Lead Category Strategy

• Define and execute a forward-looking category strategy aligned with business priorities: cost, quality, innovation, and sustainability
• Leverage AI-driven insights and advanced analytics to anticipate market trends, optimize sourcing decisions, and manage risk
• Build long-term, strategic supplier partnerships that enable innovation and competitive advantage

Drive Supplier Excellence

• Own key supplier relationships, ensuring performance, continuity, and continuous improvement
• Lead strategic supplier reviews, driving accountability across service, quality, ESG, and delivery
• Partner with suppliers to co-create innovative solutions that support brand growth

Deliver Value & Cost Leadership

• Lead strategic sourcing and negotiation initiatives to deliver annual savings and productivity targets
• Identify value opportunities through cost modeling, value engineering, and digital insights
• Partner with Finance and Business teams to track performance and proactively mitigate risks

Collaborate & Influence Across the Business

• Work closely with R&D, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Sustainability teams to align on priorities
• Act as a trusted advisor, bringing market intelligence, supplier innovation, and best practices to stakeholders
• Drive sustainability initiatives aligned with Clorox’s environmental commitments

What we look for:

• 10+ years of experience in procurement, managing complex or global categories (chemicals or CPG preferred)

• Proven track record in strategic sourcing, negotiations, and supplier management

• Strong digital and AI acumen, with experience applying analytics and tools to improve decision-making

• Solid financial and commercial mindset (cost modeling, commodity understanding, budgeting)

• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in a matrix organization and influence without authority

• Excellent communication and executive presence

• Agile, results-driven, and comfortable operating in fast-paced environments

• Bachelor's degree in business, administration, finance, related field or equivalent experience
