Your role at Clorox:

The Clorox Company of Canada is seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Brand Manager to support and drive the growth of the Brita business in Canada and accelerate the brand’s next phase of growth through innovation, portfolio strategy, and integrated marketing.

Reporting to the Associate Studio Leader, this role is responsible for leading the day-to-day management and contributing to the strategic development of the Brita business, including supporting P&L delivery, pricing and portfolio strategy, innovation planning, annual operating plans, and cross-functional execution.

In addition to leading key areas of the business, the Senior Brand Manager will lead the development of integrated marketing campaigns and demand creation strategies in partnership with internal teams and external agencies. This includes overseeing digital media, retail media, shopper marketing, and national campaigns designed to drive household penetration and increase buy-rate via filter replenishment frequency.

This role provides strategic leadership support to the Brita brand in Canada, ensuring alignment between brand strategy, commercial priorities, and marketing activation. The Senior Brand Manager will partner closely with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, R&D, and agency partners to bring initiatives to market and deliver against annual business targets.

The role will oversee an Assistant Marketing Manager, who will support execution of brand initiatives, reporting, and project management.

The ideal candidate combines strong brand management fundamentals, financial acumen, and integrated marketing expertise, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and translate strategic vision into impactful business results.

In this role, you will:

Total Brand & Business Leadership (Strategy, P&L, Portfolio, Innovation)

  • Responsible for delivering against the Brita brand P&L, supporting revenue, share, and profitability targets.
  • Lead the development of key inputs into the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), financial forecasts, and growth initiatives in partnership with the Associate Studio Leader.
  • Support the development of pricing strategy, portfolio architecture, and promotional plans, providing recommendations based on analytics and market insights.
  • Identify opportunities to grow household penetration and buy rate, with a focus on filter replenishment frequency.
  • Lead the execution of the innovation pipeline, including concept development, business case support, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Partner with Sales to support customer strategies and joint business planning across key retailers.
  • Synthesize business performance and provide recommendations to inform monthly and quarterly business reviews.

Integrated Marketing & Demand Creation Strategy

  • Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that drive conversion, consideration, and brand growth.
  • Partner with media and creative agencies to develop holistic brand engagement plans, including digital media, retail media, influencer, and shopper marketing initiatives.
  • Lead the digital and eCommerce brand stewardship, ensuring cohesive activation of Brita’s brand presence across owned, earned, and paid digital channels in partnership with internal teams and agencies.
  • Lead the always-on digital and eRetail initiatives, including optimizing content and conversion strategies with key retail partners (e.g., Amazon, Walmart, Costco), and supporting full-funnel digital journeys to enhance visibility, relevance, and demand for Brita’s portfolio.
  • Ensure campaigns support key brand objectives including:
    • Recruiting new households into the water filtration category
    • Driving filter replacement frequency
    • Reinforcing Brita’s leadership in filtration.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution across national, retail, and digital channels.
  • Establish performance measurement frameworks to track marketing effectiveness and optimize investment decisions.
  • Monitor brand performance across key channels, leveraging analytics and insights to identify growth opportunities and inform business decisions.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Commercial Execution

  • Partner closely with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and R&D to support delivery of integrated business plans.
  • Lead cross-functional execution to ensure successful commercialization of innovation and marketing initiatives.
  • Align marketing strategies with retailer priorities to drive strong in-store and digital shelf execution.
  • Ensure flawless execution of programs that drive conversion at the moment of choice.

Team Leadership & Capability Development

  • Lead and develop the Assistant Marketing Manager, fostering strong brand management capabilities and execution excellence.
  • Provide guidance on project prioritization, analytics, and campaign execution.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.

What we look for:

Years and Type of Experience:

  • 8–10+ years of progressive marketing experience within leading CPG or consumer-driven organizations, including significant brand management and integrated marketing leadership experience.
  • Proven experience managing and delivering against brand P&L components, including revenue, share, and profitability targets.
  • Demonstrated experience developing long-term brand strategies and innovation pipelines that drive sustainable growth.
  • Strong experience leading integrated marketing campaigns across digital, retail media, and shopper marketing channels.
  • Experience partnering closely with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and R&D to bring initiatives from strategy through commercialization.
  • Proven ability to lead agency partners and cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact business results.

Education Level/Degree:

  • University degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related discipline or equivalent working experience.
  • MBA/Masters considered an asset.

  • Non-Sales: $109,104 - $159,104

  • Sales: $94,928 - $144,928
