Your role at Clorox:

The Value Transformation Office (VTO) at Clorox amplifies, accelerates, and enables enterprise value creation by delivering step-change margin expansion. This role will focus on identifying, sizing, prioritizing, and activating supply chain cost savings opportunities across procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and planning. In partnership with Business Units, Supply Chain, Finance, and other functions, you will lead a small team to build a multi-year cost-savings pipeline, translate opportunities into executable workstreams with clear business cases, and ensure disciplined governance and value realization reporting.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead a team of 2 Sr. Managers (direct reports) through supply chain cost savings ideation and opportunity discovery to build a 3-year pipeline (e.g., procurement, manufacturing, logistics, network, inventory, and planning)
  • Document, size, and prioritize opportunities; facilitate development of end-to-end business cases (baseline, initiative mechanics, one-time costs, timing, risks, and owners)
  • Directly manage, coach, and develop team members, including goal setting, performance management, career development, and building a strong culture of accountability and continuous improvement
  • Lead wave planning and resourcing to translate the pipeline into sequenced, executable workplans (charters, milestones, dependencies, and change impacts) and to balance demand vs. capacity across teams
  • Proactively identify risks, tradeoffs, and interdependencies (cost, service, quality, safety, customer, and continuity of supply) and drive timely escalation and decision making with senior leaders
  • Create executive-ready updates (e.g., Savings pipeline, phased modeling, KPIs, risks/mitigations) for senior leadership and governance forums
  • Develop communications and change enablement materials to drive adoption of savings playbooks, standard work, and governance processes
  • Track value realization for cost savings initiatives (forecast vs. actual), identify gaps, and escalate risks and mitigation actions tied to financial outcomes
  • Support capability building for teammates and stakeholders (e.g., problem solving, Lean fundamentals, cost-to-serve analytics, service tracking)

Strategic Enterprise Cost Savings Enablement

  • Support development of processes, tools, benchmarks, and playbooks to advance supply chain cost savings identification (e.g., should-cost, cost-to-serve, four walls assessments, freight, inventory and other)
  • Facilitate best practice sharing across categories, and regions to accelerate repeatable savings and standardize successful interventions
  • Serve as a challenge partner for Business Unit and Supply Chain teams to identify, pressure-test, and prioritize opportunities to achieve (and exceed) savings targets
  • Maximize efficient and effective use of resources, leveraging external partners and internal technical experts (Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, Operations Excellence/Lean, Finance) to deliver initiatives

What we look for:

  • 7+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, and/or business transformation delivering complex, cross-functional supply chain cost improvement programs
  • Proven ability to lead structured problem solving, opportunity ideation, and business case development for cost savings initiatives
  • Experience in one or more supply chain domains (procurement, manufacturing/operations, logistics/transportation, planning, inventory, or network optimization); CPG with consulting experience preferred
  • Strong financial acumen: comfort with P&L drivers (COGS, distribution, inventory/working capital), savings tracking, and partnering with Finance on baselines and benefit realization
  • Strong facilitation and program leadership skills; ability to drive alignment across diverse stakeholders and influence without direct authority
  • People leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams; demonstrated ability to attract talent, coach, and drive accountability through others
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to translate operational and financial insights into clear executive-level narratives
  • Advanced analytical skills (Excel and data visualization); ability to work with large operational datasets (cost, volumes, service, capacity) to identify savings opportunities
  • Experience diagnosing, isolating, resolving, and documenting complex operational issues with actionable recommendations and implementation plans
  • Demonstrated strategic ability to solve complex, cross-functional problems using sound judgment, structured thinking, and a continuous improvement mindset (Lean/Six Sigma a plus)
  • Self-starter with strong results orientation; able to drive progress in ambiguity and deliver measurable savings outcomes
  • Enterprise mindset that anticipates implications across plants, categories, customers, and global stakeholders (cost, service, quality, safety, and risk)
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, operations, finance, or other related field
  • MBA or Master’s degree in relevant field a plus
