Your role at Clorox:
The Junior/Assistant Manager for Product Costing has a critical role in the Supply Chain Finance Organization. Leading a group of 4 employees, this role is responsible for accurately developing the standard costs for all domestic products while ensuring proper controls. The role is highly visible and will interact with cross functional as well as SBU Finance leaders.In this role, you will:
Own standard cost creation process for all Domestic materials
Owns the annual standards setting process and training
Continuous coordination and partnership with the Supply Chain Organization
To support accurate standards and reduction of Supply Chain errors; continuous improvement
Own Internal Controls for Product Costing
Manages and develops a team of capable analysts by coaching, advising, training, and reviewing/approving their work.
Actively lead, participate, and bring closure to continuous improvement projects
E&Y Point of Contact for Costing Controls
Own & support product costing business continuity
Ad Hoc Support (SAP Super User, etc.)

What we look for:
Years and Type of Experience:
4+ years of Finance/Accounting and Product Costing related experience
2 years of people management experience
Preferred Consumer Packaged Goods or Manufacturing industry experience
Education Level/Degree:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
Required Skills:
Ability to work effectively in teams (both within Finance and cross-functionally).
Exceptional SAP S/4HANA & Fiori skills
Resourceful, self-reliant contributor who thrives in independent work environments
Strong knowledge of US GAAP (strong accounting skills)
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English.
Ability to identify and implement ways to streamline and improve effectiveness and efficiency of close and forecast processes.
Strong planning & organizing skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and self-manage workload to meet deadlines.
