Your role at Clorox:
The Business Quality Manager leads the quality function for the Brita business unit and provides leadership and governance to the Litter and Canada business units. The successful candidate develops and drives the strategic quality direction, integrating quality systems and processes across the end-to-end supply chain. This role is accountable for ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer requirements, leading Product Issue Teams, embedding robust quality systems, and enabling continuous improvement to deliver superior consumer outcomes and business performance. This leader will collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, R&D, Regulatory, Legal, and Operations to embed quality into every stage of the value chain.The ideal candidate will be a seasoned leader with a track record of developing people, influencing/developing strategy, leading projects, driving continuous improvement, and reducing waste. This leader has managerial responsibility for the Litter and Canada Quality Leaders and will be expected to develop and support their individual development plans and manage their overall performance.
In this role, you will:
Strategic Leadership
- Define and lead the Business Quality Strategy in partnership with BU and enterprise leadership.
- Translate corporate quality vision into actionable BU goals, KPIs, and governance mechanisms.
- Influence senior stakeholders to prioritize quality investments and integrate quality into strategic planning.
- Champion Clorox Quality Systems across supplier, operational, and customer interfaces, driving harmonization and scalability.
Ensure Quality across Supply Chain
- Partner with Supply Chain and R&D to ensure specifications are current, compliant, and aligned with consumer expectations.
- Conduct quality systems gap analyses at key manufacturing sites and implement tailored solutions.
- Serve as the escalation point and leader for quality issues, including product withdrawals and recalls, ensuring timely resolution and communication.
- Communicates quality performance and plans to address gaps.
- Partners with the Brita plant, external manufacturing, and business unit quality leaders to ensure compliance, identify/mitigate product and micro risks, and drive continuous improvement.
Build a Strong Quality Culture -
- Implement quality processes, best practices, Leader Standard Work, and tools throughout the business unit to improve speed to market and speed to margin for new product introductions.
- Foster a culture of quality ownership and analytical rigor across operations and technical teams.
- Serve as a primary member of the Supply Chain Squad and a key member of the One Technical Voice Team, with responsibility for setting consistent corporate quality goals and objectives, driving quality best practices and reducing risk.
- Build competency in the use of quality tools and analysis throughout the quality and manufacturing organization.
Build an Engaged and Effective Quality Organization -
- Lead, develop and mentor quality professionals across the BU, supporting career development and succession planning.
- Guide onboarding and training initiatives to build functional capability and engagement.
- Collaborate with Center-led teams to shape enterprise capabilities that meet evolving business needs.

What we look for:
Skills & Qualifications
10+ years of progressive quality experience, preferably within the consumer-packaged goods (CPG) industry, including products, manufacturing facilities, and audit management.
Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills with the ability to set direction, align stakeholders, and drive results.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams through product quality issues and implement effective corrective actions to ensure compliance, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Strong coaching, talent development, and team-building capabilities.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills, including knowledge of risk-based quality systems.
Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach, with the ability to foster a results-oriented and motivating team environment.
Highly adaptable and able to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Flexibility to travel up to 30%.
Experience in an FDA-regulated industry is preferred.
Working knowledge of microbiology, including the ability to review microbiological data, identify risk areas, coach teams, and support contamination control and environmental monitoring programs.

Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.
–Zone A: $128,000 - $252,200
–Zone B: $117,400 - $231,200
–Zone C: $106,700 - $210,200
