What you’ll do day-to-day
- Act as the main technical liaison with the vendor for the firm's compliance technology, ensuring clear communication and alignment on priorities.
- Partner with Compliance stakeholders to gather requirements, recommend work sequencing for the vendor, and represent the firm's interests in product roadmaps and release assessments.
- Evaluate new vendor product offerings for fit with the firm’s needs and coordinate user acceptance testing, securing business-owner sign-off before production releases.
- Plan and oversee the multi-year transition of selected compliance applications from the vendor to internal teams, collaborating on knowledge transfer, handover, and cutover while maintaining continuity of legacy systems.
- Maintain an inventory of technical dependencies on vendor systems, participate in design and architecture reviews, monitor for new dependencies, and manage day-to-day vendor interactions, including tracking delivery, reviewing proposals, and raising risks or issues.
