Who we’re looking for

Toyota’s Information Systems – Digital Customer Experience Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Regional Technology Specialist.

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide the highest level of product insights, consultative guidance, critical technical support, and software application training for field office Team Members and Dealer customers.

Reporting to the IT Regional Manager, the person in this role will support the Information Systems—Digital Customer Experience department's objective to deliver Innovative, Immersive, Intelligent, and Informative Technologies for our Dealers and Retail Sales organizations, enabling exciting mobility experiences for our customers that exceed expectations.

The Dealer Experience group creates platforms, applications, and services that streamline the operation, management, and performance of our 1,500+ Dealers!

What you’ll be doing

The Regional Technology Specialist (RTS) will provide the highest level of product insights, consultative guidance, critical technical support, and software application training for field office Team Members and Dealer customers.

Thinks entrepreneurially, uses a design thinking approach with technical depth, and operates with a strong sense of ownership of a software product, platform, and services company.

You will work with Toyota and Lexus stakeholders and partners across the Dealer value chain to ensure that our solutions can provide actionable insights towards improving customer loyalty, satisfaction, and outstanding financial performance.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Management Information Systems or related discipline; OR equivalent work experience.
  • Demonstrable experience applying design thinking methods and principles, such as user research, ideation, prototyping, and user testing.
  • Able to understand complex, technical concepts and effectively translate them into clear, easy-to-understand terms for a non-technical audience.
  • Adept at bridging the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and alignment.
  • Customer orientation and relationship building - possess the emotional intelligence and intrapersonal skills to form positive relationships, collaborate effectively, and make others feel heard and understood.
  • Product Owner experience managing the development and delivery of an enterprise platform.
  • Ability to travel predominately throughout NJ, NY, and CT up to 75%.
  • This position requires driving. A motor vehicle record that’s acceptable by company standards is required for this position.

The annual base salary range for this position is $119,400.00 - $194,100.00
