Who we’re looking for
Toyota’s Human Resource Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Team Member Relations Analyst.
The primary responsibility of this role is to appropriately interpret and consistently apply policies and procedures within assigned divisions across all levels. The successful candidate will have strong oral and written communication skills.
Reporting to the HR Team Member Relations Manager, the person in this role will support the department’s objective to provide Human Resources support through understanding, developing, and facilitating creative HR solutions to achieve the desired business objective.
This position is based in Buffalo, West Virginia. The selected candidate will be expected to reside within commutable distance of this location.
What you’ll be doing
Track and verify that the team is meeting customer service targets for follow-up, issue close-out, and team member concern resolution.
Communicate key issues and sensing activity results monthly via Regional EDLM standard.
Thoroughly and efficiently conduct investigations.
Ensure that HR results are tracked, reported to Division and HR execs, and countermeasure activity to address abnormality.
Support team member needs for information and support according to the Toyota Way and Respect for People culture.
Coach supervisors and managers through complex issues.
Develop / Grasp current training and tools to ensure appropriate support and facilitate training for Division Management / Supervisory development needs.
Routinely use judgement on policy and ethics issues to protect the company and team members.
Oversee complex morale and engagement projects using Toyota Way principles
Manage to existing processes while working through complex TMR issues
Identify new opportunities or gaps in current HR processes/policies that changing business needs create
What you bring
2+ years of HR experience or experience supervising people
Demonstrated ability to lead a project team
Experience working in a team environment, consensus driven organization
Ability to solve problems collaboratively and independently
Ability to work off shift (7:15 PM to 4:00 AM or 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM, Sunday through Thursday)
Added bonus if you have
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resource, Labor Management, Communications or a related business field
Employee / team member relations experience
PHR or SPHR Certification
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and influence at all levels of the organization
2+ years of Toyota experience
Toyota JKK/TBP completed
HR experience in manufacturing environment
