About Y Analytics

Y Analytics is TPG's innovative internal capability, purpose-built to understand and improve the environmental and social impacts of deployed capital, in alignment with value creation opportunities. Y Analytics was launched in parallel to The Rise Fund and founded in partnership with TPG/Rise to provide best-in-class insights and tools that improve capital allocation decisions. Our rigorous approach to impact assessment and management draws on evidentiary academic and economic research, enabling greater use of evidence in capital allocation decision-making and impact valuation.

Today, Y Analytics directly supports impact assessments and decision-making for The Rise Fund, the TPG Rise Climate Fund, and other TPG companies/vehicles with impact objectives. Y Analytics’ mandate also covers responsible investing and sustainability across TPG’sfirm and portfolio. We support TPG and its portfolio companies by assessing sustainability performance and advising on risk mitigation and value-creation opportunities.

**Note: This role may be based in Washington, DC or in New York City.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist with the interfacing with Limited Partners on sustainability topics and supporting TPG’s Operational Due Diligence processes for fundraising efforts as well as ongoing monitoring of investments for current LPs. (e.g., due diligence questionnaires, engagement).
  • Interact and communicate with LPs and prospects to ensure requests are being handled in a professional and timely manner.
  • Engage with Investor Relations, Client Services, and Client and Capital Formation Group to ensure all teams are aligned on LP requests.
  • Maintain due diligence databases and provide metrics and reporting on Investor Relations deliverables and deadlines.
  • Prioritize Limited Partner requests according to “high touch” sensitivity; have a thorough knowledge of LP base.
  • Analyze current processes and recommend changes to drive efficiency throughout the Investor Relations, Client Services, and Client and Capital Formation teams.
  • Contribute to firm-wide and platform sustainability reporting (e.g., Annual sustainability report, annual PRI submission, contributing to Rise platform Annual Impact Reports, coordinating with Compliance on regulatory reporting such as SFDR).

Qualifications

  • Commitment to Y Analytics’ mission to improve the future of humanity and our planet through effective capital allocation for the greater good.
  • Undergraduate degree and relevant work or internship experience.
  • Previous experience in investor relations or similar role strongly preferred. Strong customer service mentality and a commitment to excellence.
  • Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and a strong work ethic and dedication to consistently provide quality work.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, especially in the context of client service.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maturity, humility, and exceptional ethics and discretion.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

It is expected that the annual base salary for this role will be up to $90,000 USD. Base salary is one component of TPG’s competitive total rewards package which typically includes discretionary compensation, comprehensive health benefits, and paid time off. Other incentives may also be available to certain eligible employees.
