Y Analytics was launched in parallel to The Rise Fund and founded in partnership with TPG/Rise to provide best-in-class insights and tools that improve capital allocation decisions. Our rigorous approach to impact assessment and management draws on evidentiary academic and economic research, enabling greater use of evidence in capital allocation decision-making and impact valuation.
Today, Y Analytics directly supports impact assessments and decision-making for The Rise Fund, the TPG Rise Climate Fund, and other TPG companies/vehicles with impact objectives. Y Analytics’ mandate also covers Environmental, Social, & Governance (ESG) performance and sustainability across TPG’s firm and portfolio. We support TPG and its portfolio companies by assessing ESG performance and advising on value-creation opportunities.

The Role
As a Senior Associate in Impact Reporting, you will play a pivotal role in advancing rigorous impact reporting and management across our scaled and growing portfolio. You will lead the end-to-end process of impact data collection from portfolio companies, comprehensive data analysis, actionable insights generation, and impact reporting to our limited partners—including both ad-hoc reports and the flagship annual Impact Report for The Rise Platform. Success in this role requires delivering high-quality, accurate outputs at scale and pace.
The ideal candidate will bring outstanding data science and analytics skills, proven experience in multi-stakeholder and client relationship management, meticulous attention to detail, efficiency in execution, excellent project management capabilities, and a pragmatic, client-service mindset.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Impact Data Collection and Management: Systematically identify, collect, validate, and aggregate impact data from our large-scale portfolio, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting in alignment with TPG’s reporting cycles. This includes onboarding new companies to the Rise platform and collecting quarterly data from existing portfolio companies, requiring strong data management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Data Analysis & Insights: Analyze quantitative impact data to identify performance trends, generate actionable insights, and support proactive impact management and portfolio engagement strategies. Ensure data integrity through rigorous data cleaning and analysis. Leverage insights to inform internal leadership and support impact management engagements with multiple stakeholders.
- Reporting & Deliverables: Deliver high-quality, timely reports, responding to limited partner inquiries and custom reporting requests. Lead the coordination and development of the annual Impact Report, collaborating across internal and external teams.
- Project Management in Complex, Multi-Stakeholder Settings: Lead and coordinate projects across a wide array of internal and external stakeholders. Effectively manage timelines, resources, and deliverables, ensuring all parties are engaged and aligned throughout the process.
- Process Improvement: Continuously improve data collection and reporting processes, driving efficiencies while maintaining uncompromising attention to detail.
- Standards & Best Practices: Track and integrate relevant impact frameworks and standards (such as Operating Principles for Impact Management, IRIS+, and the SDGs), ensuring our reporting aligns with industry best practices and investor expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree plus minimum of 4 years of relevant experience (full-time work and/or graduate study), with at least 2 years in a data-intensive role in consulting, financial services, or impact focused professional services preferred.
- Advanced skills in data science and analytics (proficient in Excel, SQL, Python/R or similar tools)
- Experience with visualization platforms such as Power BI or Tableau and reporting tools such as Workiva or 73 Strings.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills; ability to prioritize, navigate ambiguity, and deliver actionable insights under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to engage, influence, and collaborate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience managing projects in fast-paced environments, with a focus on delivering high-quality, rigorous and accurate work.
- Deep client-service orientation: consistently identifies and delivers on the priorities most important to key stakeholders.
- Knowledge of impact measurement standards, ESG reporting frameworks, and private equity or investment structures preferred.
- Highly collaborative, strong team player who is effective in a fast-paced, teamwork- heavy, cross-functional environment.
