JOB DESCRIPTION:
Execute project-specific Quality Control (QC) Plan with scopes of work and work procedures in coordination with project safety plan and in a manner that engages all project staff, subcontractors, vendors, and consultants and ensures achievement of contract requirements.
Develop comprehensive working knowledge and understanding of contract documents including contracts, building design drawings, construction specifications and applicable codes and standards such as the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Standards (LEED), National Electric Code (NEC), International Energy Conservation Code, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Code and International Building Code (IBC).
Ensure execution of engineering procedures using tools including bluebeam revu overlay tool, procore construction management software which include document control, submissions management, coordination, creation and tracking of Request for Information (RFIs), material samples.
Use Bluebeam Revu Overlay tool and Procore Compare Set Feature to perform QC review of design drawings and QC review of submittals by comparing submittals to building design drawings, specifications and track issues and concerns, with attention to high-risk activities.
Use SAP ECC and Excel functions to ensure execution of documentation and tracking of potential cost changes, documentation and tracking of approved change orders.
Use Power BI and excel functions to prepare analysis, and manage information for scope changes. Manage change order process, including negotiations, obtaining, and checking estimates from trade partners.
Arrange for third-party testing and inspections including elevator inspections, inspections for Fire Suppression and Detection Systems, building electrical inspections, analyze and report results.
Perform material delivery inspections using Procore Delivery Inspections tool in collaboration with Project Superintendent and Trade Foreman to confirm compliance with approved submittals.
Perform the foregoing using Quality Gold Star, Trade Partner Contract and Statement of Work; Project Specifications with focus on Division 01 and divisions 03-09; MADCAD experience; implementation of Life Safety practices listed and required within IBC and NFPA101; project management software and MS Office.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering and 2 years of experience in job offered or 2 years of experience in Related Occupation

Field Engineer or any other job title performing the following job duties:
Performing line and grade work for building layout and control as required.
Assisting in the implementation of the site safety program as required and ensuring subcontractor compliance with safety standards and all applicable safety codes and regulations.
Assisting in the maintenance of contract documents and electronic web-based documents for field operations using procore construction management software.
Assisting in the preparation of Daily Construction Reports (DCR’s) using the daily log tool on Procore Construction Management Software
Reviewing all work as it is being placed in the field to be sure it is accurate within accepted construction tolerances.
Using tools including Procore and Bluebeam, reviewing contract drawings, specifications, and shop drawings to ensure proper coordination and installation.
Assisting in the preparation of drawings depicting the as-built conditions.
Understanding the forecasting workbenches in SAP ECC and training field staff.
Ensuring proper review of the contracts and checklist to be aware of assumed contractual risks and their potential earnings impact, if any.
Accumulating, auditing and correlating information from all project teams to produce cost reports including Indicated Outcome Reports (IORs), Budget Analysis Reports (BARs), and/or cost-audited BARs required for the project and preparing interpretive analysis using excel functions and power BI where required which includes:
Knowing the project’s contract with the Owner and contractual rights.
Working with project accounting to ensure costs are posted to the ledger correctly.
Auditing the budget report for accuracy and ensuring that all costs posted to the ledger have been accurately reflected within the budget report.
Working with the project team to correct the budget report.
Analyzing the current budget reports, holds and allowances
