We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Senior Payroll Analyst to join Two Sigma’s Payroll team to manage a wide range of payroll activities. The candidate should possess exceptional communication skills in order to work with internal constituents, specifically within HR, as well as business leaders. You will take on the following responsibilities:
- Processing lead for bi-weekly US payroll, including data management, compliance with tax requirements, and assisting employees with questions
- Processing lead for monthly international payrolls including United Kingdom, Hong Kong, China and Japan
- Partnering effectively with all HR teams to ensure payroll compliance with ongoing initiatives
- Assisting in the coordination of year-end processing and off-cycle payrolls
- Maintaining documentation to ensure all payroll processes are properly supported
- Providing ad hoc reporting and project support
You must possess the following qualifications:
- Preferred bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- [8]+ years of work experience in a similar role
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to proactively and assertively anticipate issues and address them as they arise
- Solid working knowledge of payroll practices, ADP and payroll tax and compliance
- Strong MS Excel skills
- Past experience working with Workday is required

The base pay for this role will be between $100,000 and $135,000. This role may also be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, health, dental and other wellness plans and 401(k) contributions. Discretionary bonus can be a significant portion of total compensation. Actual compensation for successful candidates will be carefully determined based on a number of factors, including their skills, qualifications and experience.
