We are looking for an analyst to join the Portfolio Solutions and Initiatives team within our Investment Management business. The team spans across both Equity and Macro businesses, and serves in an essential capacity for the firm’s Portfolio Management and Trading functions, from owning daily front office processes, monitoring key investment mandates/constraints, and ultimately designing/shipping portfolio wide solutions that expand our capabilities while ensuring operational excellence.
Within our Macro business, you'll work across a diverse range of asset classes, each with unique valuation methodologies, operational workflows, and trading styles. Our team sits at the center of these dynamic markets, supporting high-scale trading from vanilla futures to exotic OTC markets.
You will take on the following responsibilities:
  • Ownership of critical daily Portfolio Management & Trading operational processes needed to ensure fiduciary standards (e.g., regulatory trading requirements, trading universe changes, risk management activities, trade support, manual interventions on positions)
  • Analyze existing portfolio operations processes for capability gaps or areas of improvement, and design scalable solutions to improve efficiency and enhance controls
  • Provide analytics and support with needs outside day to day portfolio operations (e.g. performance monitoring, reporting/metrics, procedure/control policies), as well as ‘surge’ tactical efforts to fortify important firmwide initiatives in a dynamic environment
  • Coordinate across Modeling, Trading, Portfolio Management, Engineering, and Corporate teams on new strategies and platform initiatives; ensure Portfolio Solution offerings are tailored, operationally excellent, and scalable
You should possess the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree from a highly accredited academic institution with a strong academic record, preferably in finance, mathematics, engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience at a financial services organization in a solutions related role within portfolio management or trading, with macro experience or interest preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, with ability to sometimes work under pressure and complete operational tasks efficiently with a high level of accuracy
  • Solutions minded with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, proven track record of innovating processes
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with demonstrated success building collaborative working relationships
  • Programming ability is a plus, preferably with experience using Python or other programming languages to help innovate processes and tactically solve problems
  • Passion for the markets, especially Global Macro Markets & Portfolio Management across diverse asset classes and instruments

The base pay for this role will be between $125,000 and $175,000. This role may also be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, health, dental and other wellness plans and 401(k) contributions. Discretionary bonus can be a significant portion of total compensation. Actual compensation for successful candidates will be carefully determined based on a number of factors, including their skills, qualifications and experience.
