Job Description

The Division Manager of Private Capital and Global Asset Management is responsible for leading a team of relationship managers and support staff within the Corporate Bank that is part of Wealth Corporate and Institutional Banking (WCIB) at U.S. Bank. The Division provides comprehensive coverage of private credit funds and asset managers at U.S. Bank. The Division Manager oversees the client engagement activities of the Relationship Managers to position credit, capital markets, cash management and securities servicing products while maintaining centralized relationship visibility for private credit and asset management clients. The division provides extensive credit capital markets capabilities in the origination of holding company credit, asset-based lending, fund level financing and portfolio level financing. This Division is also responsible for comprehensive coverage of corporate trust, custody, and funds services for both new business development and ongoing account management.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of experienced relationship managers and account executives to support the relationship management and servicing of private equity, private credit, and asset management companies.

  • Offer extensive industry knowledge and insight to identify strategic business development opportunities that will expand relationships and product offerings.

  • Provide senior management representation through active client engagement in partnership with the Relationship Managers and support staff.

  • Build executive-level client relationships, including C-suite engagement, that results in executive engagement with clients.

  • Collaborate with internal product partners in the evaluation and development of strategic partnership opportunities.

  • Promote, monitor, and assess client servicing requirements to support the delivery of industry leading corporate trust and securities servicing products.

  • Collaborate with loan capital markets in the credit structuring and origination activities across all financing products.

  • Partner with credit portfolio management in the monitoring and business development of credit-based products.

  • Sponsor new product development and technologic enhancements that reflect identified market opportunity. Work in collaboration with product partners across corporate trust, fund services and cash management to evaluate and make recommendations.

  • Provide mentoring, coaching and career development advice that promotes professional development of all team members.

  • Sponsor engagement with industry groups that further builds industry expertise for the Division while promoting visibility throughout the coverage universe.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or other related field
- 15 or more years of banking experience

- Demonstrated management and leadership skills

- Series 79 and 63 licenses.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, US Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401k contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $225,080.00 - $264,800.00 - $291,280.00
