Job Description
U.S. Bank is seeking a highly motivated and detailed-oriented individual to join the Corporate Treasury Capital Management team, which is responsible for managing, forecasting, and reporting the capital adequacy of U.S. Bancorp and its related subsidiaries in normal operating conditions as well as under stress. The stress tests have been designed by the Federal Reserve to assess capital adequacy of financial institutions under different economic stress scenarios. The team sits within Corporate Treasury, but individuals work in close partnership with multiple teams (i.e., Risk, Regulatory Reporting, the Business and other Finance functions). This role will provide support to the Capital Forecast Manager by assisting with the monthly capital and RWA forecast process as well as the annual stress test and corresponding reporting.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop and maintain spreadsheets for Capital and RWA forecasting and financial analysis with proper controls in compliance with the bank’s 2nd line and 3rd line defenses control requirements, in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Produce forecasting deliverables using Capital and RWA Forecast Tools.
Partner with multiple teams and business lines for financial analysis, Capital and RWA forecasting, and capital stress testing.
Analyze Capital and RWA, perform trend analysis and variance analysis related to forecasting and stress test, and provide insights for stakeholders and senior management. Communication is done both verbally and through creation of various reports to illustrate key information
Perform impact analysis for methodology, rule, and other production changes.
Partner with Risk Management, Line of Business and Regulatory Reporting Team to identify and remediate data quality issues. Track and manage of issue through to resolution and make changes to the forecasting tool as needed.
Maintain Procedure documents for the production process. Maintain Implementation guidance documents detailing the data, associated rule implementation for Capital and RWA calculation and reporting.
Provide requisite data files and documents to the bank’s 2nd line and 3rd line defenses for reviewand walk through the Capital and RWA Forecast Tools with the control team as requested.
Develop proforma financial reporting for review by senior management.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
Six or more years of related experience in
treasury, financial or regulatory reporting experience, preferably at a large financial institution
Preferred Skills/Experience
Advanced knowledge of financial analysis techniques
Considerable knowledge of forecasting
Strong mathematical, analytical, and data management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Knowledge of Hyperion Essbase is a plus
Process improvement experience with various spreadsheets and reporting
Ability to prioritize deadlines while maintaining a high attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to interact effectively with multiple teams and business lines
Knowledge of regulatory requirements

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. Pay Range: $112,880.00 - $132,800.00 - $146,080.00
