Job Description

This Executive Assistant position, reporting to the Executive Assistant of the CEO, will serve as a key administrative partner in the Office of the Chief Executive Officer and play a critical role in enabling success within the organization. The ideal candidate will work to understand and anticipate needs, quickly assess complex situations, and be experienced in partnering with executive-level leadership. They will help ensure the CEO office is efficient and flexible to execute mission-critical activities. The candidate will help ensure the priorities and deliverables of the CEO office are effectively and completely met.

This individual also will be the primary administrative support and liaison to the Board of Directors. They will partner with the Office of the Corporate Secretary and Corporate Event Management team to ensure those responsibilities are managed quickly and efficiently, as needed. Some responsibilities include but are not limited to overseeing execution of travel and meeting logistics, industry conference registration, previewing and recommending meeting locations, reviewing and executing contracts, curating events, and preparing Board communications from the CEO and MC leadership team with support from the Public Affairs and Communications team.

THE ROLE

To be successful in this role, you will need to be extremely detail oriented, professional, highly organized and motivated, and you must be able to work collaboratively and independently. You will need to anticipate, identify and troubleshoot issues of concern or significance, exercise discretion to provide timely information and necessary updates, and remain calm in high-pressure situations. You will help ensure matters requiring the attention of the CEO office are thoroughly developed, researched and evaluated. You will be responsible for managing multiple priorities, along with scheduling multi-party meeting and events for the executive office, which may include filtering and triaging incoming meeting requests. Business acumen, process orientation and a strategic and analytical mindset will be key to your success. Working well with diverse personalities and styles is critical.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma

  • Five-to-eight years of experience providing administrative support to executive management in a corporate environment

PREFEFFED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field

  • Past experience interfacing with a board of directors

  • Strong organizational and critical thinking skills, and adaptability to meet changing demands

  • Superior interpersonal and external communication skills

  • Ability to exercise discretion, sound judgment and the highest professional ethics and confidentiality

  • Proven track record of effectively representing and interacting with senior level management

  • Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments

  • Skilled at interpreting and analyzing complex information and drawing conclusions and making recommendations

  • Versatile and action-oriented

  • Attention to detail

  • Confidence under stress

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, US Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401k contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $28.56 - $38.08 - $41.89
