U.S. Bank is seeking a full-time Senior Software Engineer (Full-Stack) (Multiple openings) in Irving, TX.

Essential Responsibilities:

The Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) is responsible for designing, developing, testing, operating, and maintaining Banking and Financial products. Specific duties include: (1) full stack ownership by consistently writing production-ready and testable code; (2) create optimal design adhering to architectural best practices and consider scalability, reliability and performance of systems/contexts affected when defining technical designs; (3) perform analysis on failures, propose design changes, and encourage operational improvements; (4) conduct code reviews to provide guidance on engineering best practices and compliance with development procedures; (5) ensure all aspects of product development follow compliance and security best practices; (6) exhibit relentless focus in software reliability engineering standards embedded into development standards; (7) embrace emerging technology opportunities and contributes to the best practices in support of the bank’s technology transformation; (8) develop highly maintainable, extensible, and testable distributed systems and develop with NodeJS, React framework, producing hygiene and secure front-end code for Banking products; (9) implement user interfaces against REST APIs and work in Microservices/API development using Spring framework, Spring boot, Java Persistance API, Hibernate, Hibernate Validator Framework, Spring Batch, Spring MVC, and Spring AOP; (10) design low latency applications designed for scalability and reliability with high throughput and work with open-source technologies including Java, Spring boot, and Kafka and containerization; (11) work with source control management including gitlab, and work with agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles for setting up CICD pipelines for end to end microservice deployment; (12) secure app and containers using certificates and developing Cloud native applications in Azure; and (13) work with REST API and Microservices. This position utilizes the following tools: Jenkins, Cloud bees, Gitlab, Apigee, Istio, Kubernetes, and Rancher.

Basic Qualifications:

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science and Engineering, or Computer Science and 5 years (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience with REST API and Microservices.

Required Skills/Experience:
Must also have 48 months of experience (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following: (1) developing highly maintainable, extensible, and testable distributed systems and developing with NodeJS, React framework, producing hygiene and secure front-end code for Banking products; (2) implementing user interfaces against REST APIs and working in Microservices/API development using Spring framework, Spring boot, Java Persistance API, Hibernate, Hibernate Validator Framework, Spring Batch, Spring MVC, and Spring AOP; (3) designing low latency applications designed for scalability and reliability with high throughput and working with open-source technologies including Java, Spring boot, and Kafka and containerization; (4) working with source control management including gitlab, and working with agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles for setting up CICD pipelines for end to end microservice deployment; (5) securing app and containers using certificates and developing Cloud native applications in Azure; and (6) utilizing the following tools: Jenkins, Cloud bees, Gitlab, Apigee, Istio, Kubernetes, and Rancher.

This position is with U.S. Bank National Association, a U.S. Bank company.

Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $149,781 - $171,000. (#LI-NDI #LI-DNI #LI-DNP #DE-DNP).
