Job Description

The Fraud Fusion Leader Is responsible for proactively disrupting fraud threats by partnering with internal stakeholders and external industry fusion centers.

This role will regularly partner with other leaders in Fraud Strategy and other senior leaders in Information Security, Enterprise Financial Crimes Compliance and other groups as the primary Fraud SME within the Fraud Fusion Center. This role is also the primary liaison for the company with law enforcement and other industry fusion centers for fraud related activities.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serves as primary Fraud subject matter expert (SME) on the internal Fraud Fusion center

  • Coordinates with industry experts, including law enforcement and industry level fraud fusion centers on emerging fraud risks

  • Serves as a key advisor to the line of business head regarding fraud-related matters and serves as a functional liaison between the line of business and corporate-level risk management resources

  • Ensures appropriate level of management ownership exists to facilitate appropriate due diligence and participation in compliance, audit, and risk management requirements

  • Actively ensures compliance with the U.S. Bank Code of Ethics and regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures

  • Establishes Business Line compliance training curriculum and participates in any required training in these areas and ensures completion by assigned business line

  • Directs, motivates, and develops staff to maximize their individual contributions, their professional growth, and their ability to function effectively with colleagues as a team

  • Manages other Risk Managers. Oversees complex employee relations issues. Approves management hires/transfers and salary adjustments. Responsible for the planning, development, and control of budgets for multiple projects

ESSENTIAL Qualifications

  • 12+ years of banking experience

  • 7+ years of management experience

  • BA/MBA in finance, accounting, or other related field

  • Strong product management design and development skills

  • Strong knowledge of technical product/program development, implementation and strategic analysis

  • Demonstrated management, leadership and interpersonal skills

  • Tech fluent, forward-thinking and innovative

  • Thorough knowledge of competitive market, operations and various products and services within assigned area

  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills

  • Strong financial and competitive analysis and technical skills Proven experience demonstrating tact, diplomacy and people leadership

ACCOUNTABILIES

  • Decisions are made in conjunction with major corporation programs, plans or strategies. Independent action is normally required although other division or senior managers are usually consulted before final action is taken

  • Probable errors would have significant effect on major functions of the corporation

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $170,255.00 - $200,300.00 - $220,330.00
